T44-100 is how a T8 Premium should look like, not too different from the tech tree but extra credits and XP. Since its basiclly a T44 its not worth it imo, theyre are much more powerful vehicles, only if you are a true T44 enjoyer this tank is something for u
Is funny as hell. Always gets me the adrenaline rush of the day. A bit better than t44 tbh.
See that’s the problem right there. You say it’s how T8 premiums should be, but also that it isn’t worth buying. Why? Because it doesn’t stand out, too similar to tech tree variants.
This is the part that Wargaming cares about. They want to sell tanks, and if people won’t buy balanced but redundant premium tanks then they’ll make OP crap like the BZ-176. It’s about money.

That's funny because you just described the original tier 8 premium tanks (IS-6, KV-5...) that were a bit worse than tier 8 tech tree vehicles but had preferential mm and extra credits and xp
This tank is better than T-44 by every metric
in RU this tank's AP got buffed to 212mm and gold upgraded to 257, and much better reload lol
I remember back in the day the t-44 having no armor, terrible gun handling, and only 175-180 pen. Even the original tvp vtu was better than it. The power creep is unreal

T-44-100 is imo a solid premium. It's not OP but it makes decent credit maker and crew trainer. Only issue is that it's continually being power crept, the pen on the AP shells is simply not enough with the armor today.
3rd marking is hard while savbing money and not spamming gold and the engine fire and ammorack is a pain
Not mention, the 3-5 minute meta...
We need more of these videos !!! Please do it for next on sale tanks or offers. That would boost your reach and visibility a lot.
I got 2 setups for the t44-100 one setup for bullying lower tiers and one setup for higher tiers. I just love it.
Back then when I played the game I loved this tank. I have my spotting damage record in in, 4092. The only disadvantage is that pitiful penetration of 190 with standard ammo.

Imho still one of the best meds on T8. Fast, mobile, still a bit of armor, good DPM and excellent soft stats on the gun. Performs very well, with Gold ammo, of course
And with superb spotrange and camo values.
I saw it for sale but since I will never hand pay wargaming I decided to play T-44 instead since it reminded me of it
it was my first tier 8 and almost had 1k games in it. Surprised that by now the tank still performs good
I wouldnt recommend this tank ...
Its not easy to play nowadays. It was really good in the past. Despite that it is simply too expensive for what it can do. For old reasons it has the price tag of an heavy tank which makes it one of the most expensive mediums. The crew has an old fashioned layout. You can use crews from your T10 russian mediums on it, but those have the radio operator abilities on the commander, while this one has them on the loader. If you have crews with many skills, you can afford to have the extra view range on both crew members, but newer players usually dont have. If you want a premium sovjet medium tank, wait for the obj 274a to appear in the shop. Imho it is the much better choice.
As a T44100 lover, this tank once was among the best. Now there are many more newer meds that are better
good choice if you want to improve your skill to playing mediums
The T44-100 is always on my list of "specials" on the main WoT Premium Store.
Wich mod you using in game? I like your hp bar and DMG marker when you deal dmg

Used to love this tank. But its just a struggle now. Forced to shoot gold but feels like a 140 at tier 8.
I play this tank a bit weird, I love its mobility so I went for fast and furious, Vents Turbo Rotation mechanism, makes it so fun to play, gun still hits and reload is not much slower ❤ have over 56% winrate with it. Constantly screaming bbrrrm brrrmmm brrrmmm 😅😂

One of my favorites but in today meta is a bit outdated, sad but is the reality
its not. Its actually fantastic. It just has high skill cap, but otherwise its a beast. Good mobility, great DPM, great gun, solid gold ammo (u need to shoot gold), usable armor, usable sidescraper. If u know how to play this kind of tank and using the right setup, its a beast.
Is better than the T-54 mod 1??
Man... I remember competing in some event you had to get 150,000 dmg and 150 kills in each nation to earn this tank, I made all but 2 nations and purchased the tokens to receive this tank... that was in 2016? 17? and now, you can just buy the tank in the shop.......... Ayaya
That TD in the first game was clearly afk, he didn't even move at the first hit.

Skill, in your opinion, is CS-52 Lis better than this tank?
I like T-44-100 because you can either not think at all and just drive around, shoot, and be successful and also you can tryhard and sweat and be even more successful. It's such an easy-going gameplay.
Used to be borderline OP, bit now a bit powercreeped. I mean Progetto and Borat are in the game so ... yeah.
But I love this tank with all my heart, my most liked t8 premium. But I'm biased, I love the t-44 too :-)
The Lis is similar and better on paper, but I hate it, the gun on mine is made in china 😂

Actually, no you don't. Unless you end up against higher tiers at least. And even then, i generally still play without gold ammo.
And wow, Skill... You play this tank so completely differently from myself it's like its another tank.
Me, i've maximized spotrange and camouflage. Vents(bond), Optics(bond) and LNE(captured).
Having a spotrange of 495 and a camo of 39/47 WITHOUT using consumeables, oh my, you can do a lot of sneaky stuff with it like THAT. (9.84 camo firing from nonmoving, that's better than a lot of TDs that prefer to stay hidden)
Sure, it doesn't always work, but it's hilarious if you sneak around entire enemy team's frontline, and suddenly you're killing all 3 of their artillery, and then you just disappear again, and start hammering them from the flanks.
Every time you get even a halfdecently successful match, it tends to be glorious.
1.5-3k dmg done and 1.5-5k assist.
And while it's not super easy to play well, you can play it ok without really needing much experience.
One of the best in game, for me 💪
Т-44 is for experienced players, T54 mod. is for beginners. Both are good!
Did they ever buff the mod 1 recently? It was the worst tier 8 prem for the longest time
I don't get why this tank is so expensive though. I can understand Lowe being $50 because it has the best credit multiplier in the game. I can understand the Skoda T56 being $50 because its the most OP premium T8 heavy WG sells. T44-100 doesn't seem to have any better multipliers, yet is still more expensive than the Lis or Progetto which most would likely pick over this tank.
It was a Marathon reward in 2016 (?). The Marathon was very time-consuming and you had to fullfil missions in tanks from all or nearly all nations in order to get it. I think that is why the tank is so expensive, compensation for the very exhaustive marathon

Wargaming plus gives -5% to all reloads

Skil showing some skillz with this outdated tank. But it doesn't mean the tank is good when there is Lis you can buy.
t54 mod-1 on paper is the same tank with better armour but in terms of playstyle, it cant match the t44-100 and its prowess

The fact no mention of the team disparity tells me Money is involved. WG only needs one fix right now and that's their horrible Match maker. You can tell the algorithm they use is stat based not tier based which is locked at +1 -1 anyways.
T-44 is a great tank, tech tree or the premium one, very solid all around great performer. It does show it's age and Power creep is real but it still shines although patina is setting in slowly.
