  • What did the Universe look like when the first galaxies formed? What is dark matter? And is there life out there? These are some of the big questions astronomers around the world are trying to answer.
But to answer them, they need a machine unlike any other. A time machine, an IT machine.
Hundreds of engineers in all time zones of the world are working together, pushing technology to its limits - and in the process generating new knowledge that could improve our everyday lives - to build the largest science facility ever built by mankind and probe the deep Universe.
What will they discover? The unknown.

Yay, we'll be able to see farther than we've ever seen before from the deathbed of our self-imposed extinction! Yippee!

And add to the destruction of the environment in the Central Karoo in South Africa.
I know this because I have already seen this destruction with my own eyes. Animals dying of thirst because their water sources have been turned off. Future of over 50,000 people being threatened because of science.
This is all due to the short sighted scientists and even more short sighted politicians.

There are not 50,000 people in the Carnovan area of the Karroo. This area is still a major mutton producing area. Exporting all over the world. The roads are still open for everyone. Fly overs are not allowed, because of possible radio interference. But not a lot of people fly in this area. Are you some sort of conspiracy nut? Take your boat and go visit Williston, or Willowmore.
