Hi Natasha, I love how recently you are transitioning Junk Journal ideas into your cards. There are so many techniques, ideas that cross over beautifully between the two genre. This card turned out beautifully. TFS. 😀
I still want to crawl in all the people I watch creating cards, etc as I cannot even think on how to do things. Thank you for sharing. I appreciate you. Audra
Advice you didn't ask for: Start Small. White paper (cardstock), black ink, colored pencils, and a photopolymer (clear) stamp set, acrylic block. Stamp a design, color with colored pencils, cut it out, and lighty glue to your card base. Happy, happy!
The other Natasha(She's in Australia) at Treasure Books had an older series, I think, called DIY ephemera for junk journals or something similar on RUclips. She had cheat sheets which might help you out. It definitely helped me get started & now I quite like the little bits & and bobs I make. I Love that this Natasha is getting into a bit more messy mixed media techniques. This background is amazing & the diecuts an excellent idea. Thanks Natasha
Another great layout that uses up scraps. I love this.
Thank you so much Natasha 💓 💗
Love all your cards. Happy Mothers Day, Natasha.
Wow! I love this idea! I really need to be brave and experiment with master boards and the vintage look. I even liked the washi tape background as a standalone background. I wasn’t sure where you were going at the start, but I should never doubt, as that end card looked great! Well done Natasha 😃🩷
What a brilliant way to use masterboards! A real inspiration! Thank you for sharing! 😊❤
Absolutely beautiful card…..thanks for the ongoing inspiration Natasha 👏🏻👏🏻😍
What a great idea! Love the finished product. You never fail to impress. ❤ Thank you for sharing once again.
I love how that ended up. Great idea.
What an amazing idea and card, thank you ❤
I love your videos. It's amazing how creative you are. You make beautiful things out of nothing.
Love these mixed media creations! Guess what I’m doing all day tomorrow? Thanks for your generous inspiration.
I love the way you think. When you first started putting down all the different things I thought “oh this isn’t going to work” but I was wrong. This card is beautiful and simple. 🥰💕
I'm glad you stayed around to see if it turned out ok! lol :)
You elevated the idea of a master board to a new height. Love, love, love your cards and the fun process that you obviously enjoyed! I like how you used the outline of the leaf to highlight your die cut background; very effective. I also like that you used the leftover from your die cut to make a beautifully shaped background. Well done!!
I love making masterboards, and these are beautiful! I often scan mine so I can print them and use again.
Beautiful card. Love the colour combo. And both leafy dies. I really like using up scraps. Fodder is another term I've heard lately 😂💕
Would never think of doing this. When current committments sorted, will have a go. With my piles of scraps!!. Fetched a whole folder out this week and wondered how to use it up. Now I know. Thanks Natasha. A very timely video for me.
I don't know if I will make them, I might, but I think I enjoy watching you make them even more ❤
Beautiful card from your scraps. I like that you are sharing some Junk Journal techniques and how to use those same techniques to make cards. I have plenty of scraps. I think it is time to make some Master boards to have on hand to use when the mood strikes me. ❤
Beautiful idea. Loved the finished project.
I love making cards from scraps but am always open to different ideas - I have only used a master board once but it was fun and resulted in some beautiful tags . Never to old to learn new tricks
I've recently discovered Master board videos. I love the Washi tape one too. I struggle to not overthink.😫
You are a genius! Love it!❤
You just blow me away with your talent❤
Enjoyed this master board suggestion; gorgeous card created Natasha! 🎉 Thank you for posting. 💜🥰✨🖖🏾
Pretty. The brown works great.
I never know how to make cards with this stuff. Thanks for sharing the ideas.
I love how these turned out! Truly amazed with the process😮
Thanks for sharing this creation, what a good idea. I'm sure going to try this, it turned out so nice.
That piece would be great on a mini slimline card too.
What an amazing card you have created of bits & pieces of cards & washi tape. So impressive ! 😊
Beautiful masterboard!! Yes, I make them for junk journaling💕🐬Enjoy your weekend
How gorgeous is this card? Makes me want to go into my craft room and use all those scraps I have on my work surface. It’s a beautiful day here so maybe later because they are calling for rain. Thank you.
I love this technique and the finished cards! You are so creative. Thanks for sharing.
I love this video. Especially the tip about pulling off the backing from thick die-cuts. I have a bunch of those from Stamperia in various themes.
I ♥️ it! Less can be just as pretty as more. Thanks for sharing this fun idea with us. Blessings 💜
Love this idea! I have been watching a lot of Junk Journaling videos on Instagram and wanted to try to do this on my card bases! Thanks for the inspiration! This was a perfect time for me to see this. You’re the BEST!
I adore using up little bits of scrap and I could see using up some backgrounds I have made that I do not really like. Thanks for the inspiration ♥️
Love the idea of die cutting things from a washi tape master board!!
You never cease to amaze me! 💜
I always wondered what to do with washi tape! Lovely.
Natasha, thank you. I thank you so much because you are so accomplished at card making and your ideas inspire me so much. You are my go to for all things card. The hardest thing for me is dealing with my pain because I can only sit and craft for a very short amount of time t of time before I have to rest my spine in my recliner. Well guess what? This is a recliner project. I have been working on ways to do my crafting in my recliner. I am going to make a recliner project playlist just for them because I now have hope I can do them. You rock!
Another great creation! The way you layer is amazing, I sit there stumped, I need to be more free and not so scared of failure! You encourage that all the time, thank you Natasha 🙂
THANKS FOR THE SHARING, NATASHA!!! Do take care. USA
Super INSPIRATION, Natasha!!!! I really needed your video today to get me going on creating.
Yes I’ve made a fair few back in the day. It’s great to see these things that remind me to try it again. Your card was beautiful
I haven't done the master board as yet but I can't wait to try it out. Your card looks amazing. Thankyou. 😊
Beautiful. A couple of white lace borders on the card would look nice too
Beautiful card! I love that you used brown and that you diecut the foliage out of the collage that you made!❤❤❤
Thank you, sometimes it's nice to go ever so slightly different than expected ❤️
Love, love, love!
Fantastic - all the masterboards I've seen are for junk journals - good to see the ideas (and scale) for turning masterboards into cards
Love these ideas. Will definitely make some master boards.
Love your creativity, I get excited for your next video, always a variation of surprises💜
Gorgeous card! I’m an over-thinker so this is a little out of my comfort zone but I should just try it! Who knows, maybe it will try out nice!
So clever. Hadn't thought of using different techniques like that. Will definitely try it. Also thanks for speeding up the video. It was very professional too.❤
Perfect! Great use for all the washi tape we have. I'm going to try this.
I’ll probably make some in the future. I love the tip with the washi tape and die cutting them to seal the edges
What a beautiful project from leftovers...WOW!
As usual you have another great idea! Love the backgrounds you made and the foliage piece you layered! TFS love it well done 😀
This is so brilliant, great idea! Your card is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing! I always love your designs!!! I love how your die cuts turned out! So pretty!
BEAUTIFUL! This is something I will try!! 💜💜💜
I love those! I’ve been intrigued by junk journaling but don’t think I’d use a junk journal….so this is a nice option for doing that nice collage work! Thanks for sharing this idea.
I have always loved what you create 😂
I love making these! Yours turned out really cute.
I love this! Absolutely beautiful 💕
Oh. I have never thought of taking the backing off the chip board pieces. I have some that I haven’t used because they are so thick.
Yes, I have made masterboard collages, but not die cut them! Fab idea, and really effective. I made some into card fronts and bookmarks.
I love making master boards and creating from them. It soothes my soul😅 very pretty card Natasha.
That looks like fun--I'll be trying it. Thank you, Natasha!
Love this card based on a master board technique. Would love to see more card ideas using the master board as I’m in need of some more inspiration for this please?
