Thank you for the comment and watching the video. RUclips doesn't like to have longer than 15 min videos, so I had to break this video up in 3 parts. I am working on the other two. We share the same first name. :)
Thanks for watching and commenting. The sensation of the stone is fantastic as well. The edge when you get it right is amazing. So I would say it is a win win stone.
In my time honing on that stone, water only passes was too much. Think jnat x2, it’s not very forgiving with water. That’s the big difference between it and the Zulu. Misty slurry builds some viscosity and reduces friction. You could also use soap, oil, glycerin (your lube of choice). It’s very interesting to see how how you approach this stone and your findings. It’s not all that different from myself, good stuff. Enjoyed the honing Robert. I hope you load more it these. Take care bud.
Thank you Eric. For sure there is quite the different cutting and range capabilities between the two stones. I have been working on the fallowing videos, but the length of them have proved a pain to upload. So I am hoping to get them up soon. Thanks again and you take care as well.
Great video with a good viewing angle.
Nice stone!
Thank you. I am still trying to figure out what works the best.
Great hone video John thanks for the shout out and for the video!

Great video Robert! I’ve never even seen one of those stones before.
Thank you Robert. This is the first time to use a stone like this. It is very special with it's cutting properties. It is a wonderful finisher.
@ I’ll have to look into them. Thanks Robert!
Nice hone sir , I need to try those reverse strokes ! And can I say that stone sounds amazing
