Now why the heck did that bus start to accelerate, knowing a train was approaching? I drive buses myself and we are supposed to stop, look and listen before crossing the tracks, obviously that driver did not want to comply.
@@railroading I drove a Military bus for five years. All buses in Arizona carrying more than 12 passengers must come to a complete stop clear of the tracks, activate hazard lights, open the passenger entry door, listen, and look both ways. Small vans do not have to, but are encouraged to do so.

8:13 for sparks flying 🚂 8:35 for the bus boing 🚌
I live in Wichita and I can't believe that the K&O put another sparkie locomotive out on the rails....

Awesome job! Also, at 1:17 that MARC GP39H-2 is on its way to Georgia to be rebuilt into the GP39H-3C.
Yeah!That s my first name!!
I really enjoy the grab bag videos, great stuff, The tie tamper near the end almost looks like a Railroad R2D2, Keep these coming please!
Yes, the rocky mountaineer is back, lot of boings lately. Great grab bag!
The couple in the car was great. Always liked the “wavers”!
Thanks John and U.P. Dave ( waves back at the other Railfans )

Don't know about VA, but here you have to come to a complete stop and open the door. Any noise and you stay put.
@@jamesmckenzie3532 isn't that rule only for school buses?

@@jamesmckenzie3532 oh okay, because I have mostly never seen any busses besides school busses stop and open the door (Illinois)
@@railroading That law varies by State. Federal Highway Code only includes school buses.

0:12 Nice to see The Rocky Mountaineer back fornthe spring/summer run!!
It's very rare to see a Marc engine in freight service. I rode on that engine plenty of times. Nice video keep them coming.
Wow! A Leslie RS3L horn on the CSX Honoring Law Enforcement locomotive - awesome!
It’s an RS5T
@@James_Lee_ shucks! Thanks for the correction.
very cool nice grab bag.
Today is my birthday! I’m going to Ashland, VA tomorrow.
Happy belated birthday
@@charlottecunningham2141 Thanks!!
My bus driver got stuck on the gate and we were an inch from hitting the Florida east coast train 204
I do have a video of it lol
I live in Fort Worth close to Davidson Yard. I have now idea what passenger train that is passing the tower.
I hope at least one of the cameras capture 3985, 3646, and 5511 when they get sent to Illinois!
PLEASE you must have cameras somewhere along the route!
Wonder if that is the locomotive that started the fire in Wichita earlier?

That bus driver should be fired was attempting to cross knowing a train coming. And had gate stuck for a few second reckless on the driver part
I like the BNSF Passenger Trains!
I would like to ride the rocky mountaineer someday
me too! expensive!!!!!!
9:31 … Well, at least he/she didn’t turn that bus onto the tracks because the GPS said to

Why don’t you leave Swift alone as you know nothing about them.
Seems like many different RR's are pulling some of their old iron out of their barns, shortage of locos?
Awesome , Thanks VR

Ashland is confusing. Needs a traffic light. The carbuncle of the Northeast corridor, but pretty as a postcard.
14:58 I didn’t notice anything until I saw the number on the locomotive lol
Another great Grab Bag video VRF .

Wow nice catch

Was the BNSF '1838' re-numbered? (5:20)
Awesome grab bag
Is the Ashland crossing built on an Indian burial ground or something? So much goes wrong here 🤷🏽♂️
It's pretty common in Ashland.
Nice👌
1:17 MARC!!!
