It feel they are playing safe. He is Pro, she is top Amateur. Yes, he is lion, but she is lioness. New partnership, no comps yet, just showdance performance to showcase the new couple. I anticipate amazing future for them.
Pro and Amateur is just a tittle and doesn't define talent. He's better than Sinardi and she's better than Teleshova and better than many pros I've seen. They will definitely have a brighter future.
Thank for posting these videos of Kirill and Viktoria. Dancesport enthusiasts around the world have been eager to see this new partnership in action. I was a huge fan of Viktoria with salvatore. Its early days but what I,'ve seen so far as a partnership I,m not awestruck. perhaps i'ts nerves, but I don't see and feel the same bond and chemistry she had with salvo. Both exceptional dancers but terrible shots with a pistol at point black range they both missed.
This is a dramatic type of show dance and is not meant to reveal chemistry, but fighting and fun, though the rumba in the last part was quite good with chemistry. He has chemistry like a lion. It takes a bit time for her to take more control over a lion, but she has all the abilities and charm to do that. I think they will develop like a jet flight in the latin dances.

From what I’ve seen so far, this will probably end up a better partnership. He is looking at his partner, engaging, and actually has a smile on his face at the end. He’s enjoying dancing with Viktoria and I love that. 🥰 Don’t get me wrong, Polina and Kirill was one of my favorite dance couples, but one thing that always felt missing was connection. He barely looked at Polina and seemed like he was dancing for himself. If this is their first show dance and is any indication of their future progress as a dance couple then I’m very excited to start seeing them more!!! Plus Polina is with Andrey and the rumba they posted on IG was hot 🔥 It was smart for Both of them to move on and get new partners. I feel they will be happier and will reflect positively in their dancing. BTW, I also thought that it was tacky with the guns shooting at the end, but that has nothing to do with their dancing together.
On AirDance channel the same dance looks a little bit different. More dramatic, I would say. Their face expressions are seen more clearly, and I guess it's closer to what it was meant to be, including pistols)) Sometimes it really gave me goosebumps. The same with rumba. I don't mean one channel is better that the other, they just give different perspectives of the same dance, which is valuable, since it allows us to see more aspects of the same dances.
@@Maria_Fomina I looked at this and you are absolutely correct. It is filmed from a better angle and overall shows more detail. It's a brand new partnership that will be heavily scrutinised because so much i think is expected of them and the nerves were clearly visible. They both split with very good partners with so much potential, so I think there's alot of expectations and pressure on this partnership to come through with the goods in a big way. Kirill is a very powerful and technically based dancer, but his movements in Rumba are too often overly sharp, severe and aggressive and for me he lacks that fragility and deeply sensitive vulnerability that the really good male rumba dancers have. For a first outing what they produced is very good but there are elements as a partnership that need refinement and polish which with time will improve I'm sure.
