After ruling out the zip allowance on the pattern ,will I still give one inch for zipper on the fabric?
There will still be 1" zipper allowance in the main fabric but No z/a in the yoke just as it is in the pattern.
Just do it the way it is in the video.

No, in princess dart you need more seam allowance in the front than at the back

For plus size 2.5 inches and half inch. 2inches and half inch is for regular size. For small size use 1.5 and half inch
