- Today we give a gift of paying for a Filipina’s college tuition to help her become a teacher. Plus we have a gift for her mother Cecil.

During the covid pandemic (2 1/2 years) I was in a province in the Philippines. While there we built over 25 C.R's (toilets) and built and repaired many homes and distributed food and other essential items thanks to this youtube channel and the subscribers. Reche is a keeper. When you had her pick the last berry that you had to eat, she picked a very red one. If she had picked a hard, green one, that would be a sign that she will be mean to you in the future. 🙂

After looking it up, it looks like a Jamaican Cherry, which it says is anti-inflammatory, rich in antioxidants, and supports the immune system and blood sugar levels.👍 Also Cecil is right, there are studies showing it may help diabetes.

I went to college on scholarship at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines...back then I had to take the entrance exam to get in not less than 92%, I have to pass the NCEE-National College Entrance Exam not less than 92% . and get a high school grade total of not less than 92%. I had pass all those requirements and got my degree in Accounting. I only paid 250 pesos every semester. That was 40+years ago.

I'm from Manila, and growing up that's been one of my fave fruits. We call it aratiles. But now, you can't hardly find it because 1, they don't sell it in the market and 2, they cut down the trees for land development purposes. I guess I have to go there to taste that fruit again. Dustin I eat Mansanitas, we have right by our window outside the house in Cebu, everyone eat it..I'm not random. When I was in Cebu the tree is by our window I eat all the time. It has a lot of health benefits, it is a berry fruit, it is good for bronchitis, kidney, stomach ailments and more...Cecil is uplifting, smart, humble and also funny. May is also intelligent, beautiful, she is attractive she had a bright future ahead and wish she will be successful in every goals she dreams.

That is called 'datiles' here in our place. Its sweet and addictive to eat. We used to have it in our backyard on my younger years. Its been a long time sincee i havnt eaten that fruit, i miss it a lot

Mansanitas is popular to birds and kids. But I think there are other fruits that locals prefer. Mansanitas is almost like eat them when you're bored. I prefer guavas over mansanitas. Ask Reche about seryales, the one that come from a thorny tree,the fruits are seedy and they look like grapes when ripe and they can really stain your teeth. HAha Reche , having Dustin eat more of the fruit that he likes is not much of a punishment.

Cecil said she loves Dust in the wind and I started singing that song like her I have been singing it for many years even though I am only 18 cough cough. Then Cecil started singing and I almost pissed my self laughing . I have never heard it sung like that before. May was holding back trying hard not to laugh . I was busting out in tears laughing and just as I got a grip on my self Dustin busted out and I lost it . Cecil sure knows how to make others happy . Poor may said I don't know it's my Mother lol.
True story . Back when I was a teen and drinking . I had gone out the Saturday night dancing . I came home late Sunday morning about 3 am . When I woke up my Mother was hanging clothes out to dry and I cranked up AC/DC Hell's Bells As the bells were chiming my Mother was shocked and told my neighbor wow the church is playing the church bells early . Then she heard I'm Rolling Thunder Fire and Rain I am coming down like a Hurricane . My Mom said listen to that they have singing to . Then she heard white flash of lightning across the sky you're only young but you're gonna die. My Mother looked at my Neighbor and said OH My God What are they playing .? Then she heard Ah Hells Bells and I swear my Mother was going to pass out . She told my neighbor can you believe the church is playing that . My Neighbor looks at my Mother said you damn fool that is you're son playing that crap. I am rolling on the kitchen floor laughing so hard I just lost it . My mother started beating me with the broom and I just could not stop laughing.
