Why do places like this seem to be like remote spas or some refuge like the movie Ex Machina with no one around. It's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there? And I feel the same way about Boston and Washington, DC and haven't been to Oregon or Washington State, as I may think the same way. I love natural beauty and one of the finest examples is Montreal, Canada with a mountain in the middle of the city and they can ski and you don't have to go too far away. That's awesome. City life with beautiful parks but the best thing is the Olympic Park with the 50 meter olymOlympic pool and velodome and maybe some other stuff is there.
down side is that it is a fake computer generated "house" superimposed onto 2 photos, and it is a very beautiful area to visit/live in a Motor-Home-see my comments above
The mountains are real, and all you need is a MotorHome ( you can rent them from Avis/Hertz etc ). This video is actually a fake. No such building exists. It has been photoshopped onto an image and the word Waiora is also a fake word. It is a word made up of the Queen of England's English Alphabet, and the "wai" and the "ora" spoken sounds are similar to the vocal sounds made by the Maori. The Maori have never had their own alphabet, or written language, and are now getting the Government here to shove their "sounds" in our faces. They now refer to New Zealand as "a' "o" "tea" "ah" (pronounced by them as ah ) "row" "a". As a result, New Zealanders who reject the Maori religious beliefs about their God Maui, and all their attempts to claim the Queen's English as their own, have had enough of their constant moaning about their "lost lands" ( which they actually SOLD to the English and kept ONLY WHAT THEY WANTED ) AND are taking our own actions against them. That will include calling places that have English Alphabet based names, the English equivalent. Such as 'Kai" (Maori sound for food) "Koura" ( Maori sound for place of seafood ) will be renamed Food/Place of Seafood, instead of Kaikoura. If they want to call New Zealand "a" "oh" "tea" "ah" "row" "ah" then thats fine by us. Change all the signs on all the towns and places that are in Maori, to English. And if you think that is being racist, think again. They call us "Pakeha" ( "Park" "e" ha" ) which is a Maori sound combination for " WHITE PIG." And DNA TESTING has proven that the Maori actually came from the highlands of Taiwan. They are actually more Chinese/Asian than Polynesian. The sounds they make as a "language" are even very, very similar to the same Taiwan Tribes, who also do not have a written language. And the Taiwanese Highland Tribe call albino pigs "pakehas" ( google it )
A large amount of what you have written here is simply wrong. Pakeha does not mean white pig in Maori, not at all. The language is completely different from Taiwanese, they only pronounce vowels the same, as do most other languages.
@@Sambo98199 Sorry to burst your cozy little bubble, but facts are facts. 58 years ago I started teaching "Te" "Reo" at Primary School level, until I looked into their history, and discovered many, many things about them. I spent a considerable amount of time looking into all areas of their existence, and in particular their involvement with the original natives that were living here before the Maori arrived. ( They ended up befriending them, then killing and eating them, with only a few escaping to the Chatham Islands with the last full blooded Moirori dying in 1985 ) Much of the factual history about them has been twisted by so called Maori Historians, and especially to fit their perceived injustices about the British stealing away "their" lands. They have claimed "ownership" of the water in the rivers, the sand on the beaches, the rocks and the mud under the oceans, the lakes and everything in them, the fish and all shellfish in and around 'A" "O" "TEA" "AH" "ROW" "A" and even the jade rocks in the mountains. Then the 3rd part of it is the computer generated house overlay. But the title says it all.
