I was the shift supervisor at the YerfDog factory in Jordan Minnesota back in 1996. I programmed the welding robots that made your gocart. We made thousands per week for Sam’s Club. We had an assembly line like a car factory. Sam’s speced those units out for 1000 hours trouble free. Your units may have more hours on them than that. There is supposed to be grease zerks on those front spindles. Factory. You may want to inspect for other missing zerks. Thanks for bringing back all those memories for me.
Really enjoyed watching the Go-Kart maintenance. You could probably film yourself painting trim and i'd like that. Oh wait ..... I bought 5 mini-bikes for our family. Thought I was going to be dad of the year. They drove them once, and never got on em again. Well my wife and I enjoyed ours.
Happy turkey day. You said you didn't make much progress today however, you did. You realized that your daughter's are not much into the go karts. You made your mind up not to force it upon them. That sir makes you an amazing father.
Sorry you’re not feeling 100%. You made us feel better with your holiday surprise. Happy Thanksgiving to y’all ! You have a wonderful family. Rule #1: Keep ‘em happy !
My brothers and I built a go cart when we was growing up in the 60's we had 2 chainsaw motors on it at first. Dad wasn't too happy with it after he clocked us with is police radar faster than it should have been and made us take one off.
Go-Karts are so much fun hope you make time with your friends to rip it up on them. Don't get old, we want to see gray hair and balding old man puddin ripping it up in these in years to come. Keep doing you we love it.
I have 4 grandsons who are in their late teens now. When they they were younger I had 5 yard carts for them. One was a spare. I built them a track on my 2 acres and they would wind those suckers and have fun. My neighbor told me that they were tearing my grass up. I told him that I'm raising grandsons, not grass thank you very much. Their carts had 5hp Breaks and Scrap'ems on them and I was forever working on them, that's why I had a spare cart. That got me to thinking. I'm pretty good at repairing small engines. So I started a second income at it. Those Preditor engines are the way to go on those carts I guarantee. Thanks for your channel. It is very entertaining . Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family my friend.
Happy Thankgsgiving Puddin! I out a set of 4 shocks off amazon on my yerfdog and it completely changed the ride. Was rough as hell with the stock shocks, but the new ones float over bumps like a champ and helped quite the ride down..
Don’t sweat it ! I bought a go cart for my grandson’s to ride on my property. They rode it once, one ran into the corner of porch the other one ran into the propane tank lol . Scarring them so they never rode it again , but my granddaughter loved it and she is younger than them lol . Kept it for a few years then traded it for a John Deere ridding mower with snow plow ! Win win 😅
Happy Thanksgiving to you Puddin and fam and fans. I'm Canadian so we already had our Thanksgiving a few weeks ago.🎉❤🇨🇦♥️🇺🇸!!! Love your channels and vidjas too!!! Cant wait to see what the future brings, you are absolutely incredible at what you do Sir and its a privilege to be able to have you share your skills with us!!! ♥️♥️♥️
Stepping up WITH THAT FIREBIRD. Yeah I'm a firebird guy. I've got one I've owned for a number of years actually I've owned them both a number of years. The 68 is a project. There are parts cars laying around the country if interested. Looking forward to it.👍.
Happy thanksgiving. Just finished watching this episode. YOU ARE BLESSED WITH YOUR GIRLS. The fact that you chose them is an additional layer of blessing. My wife misses not having our girl. But we have one of our sons. Its human nature to want and miss what you don't have. But remember what we do have is the thing not to forget.
Hope y'all had a good turkey dinner, and enjoyed Family time. Don't worry about Go-Karts not being a full time hit, they are best for get-togethers and parties. The girls will have friends over next summer, make sure both karts are tuned up and ready to ride by spring break. If you have snow, they'll have a blast in a semi-safe manner.
Growing up, my brother and I had a yerfdog gokart that was a bit larger than yours. Watching this brought back a ton of good memories of raising hell with that thing. Hopefully y'all can make some great memories as well!
Just watching you cut those corners up and eye ballin it, I think we all knew it was still gonna rub🤣🤣you should do these live and then we can say WAIT ….. STOP…… THAT AINT GONNA WORK🤣 Great video once again!!
Iv'e been wondering about those things sitting there rusting, i love building the small engines to get max horsepower. Those engine cradle hinges are junk and are usually replaced with a couple himes joints. For Hot Rod turn the idle adjustment in until it cant go fast
Happy Thanksgiving Mr. to you and your family. I almost fast forwarded to the end because I thought for sure I was gonna see you and slick 50 out doing hot laps. Awesome video as usual. I hope to see you and slick 50 out racing them little carts around
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family. You're missing the grease fittings on your spindles. The grease is your bushings on these. We would grease ours before every ride.
Hey there, condensation naturally occurs when engines get hot and cold. If they don't run hot enough for long enough, they won't evaporate the condensation until the water displaces the lighter oil, forcing the oil out past the rings. I live in GA, where it is more common from high humidity. The only thing you can do is change the oil often unless, when you start the engine you make sure to run it long enough to get hot for a while and cook off the condensation.
The belt drive is like what they use on snowmobiles & yes the belt looks a size or two big but will work just great as the pully expands the faster the motor goes it tightens up on the belt ! 50 years ago myself & few the neighbor kids used build go-carts out water pipe & braze the pipe together but no roll cage was even though of back then ! Yes i had many times rolled over & once had head-on crash but i'm still alive & only had few bumps & burses
"tinking noise " is the clutch , normal .Do 3 oil changes with used oil . Get motor up to temp and change each time . 4th ,used new oil . should get rid of milkshake . We did it on a kart we got for my son . Advice from a small engine mechanic of 40 + years . Also we ran straight 30 weight oil .
I agree Im also thankful for this channel puddin has been an inspiration to me from the beginning. I’m also trying to fulfill my dreams of haven my own channel one day but I would never try to compete with the best!! ❤ keep finishing your projects brotha. Godbless you and all your family puddin!!! 🤘🏻
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Puddin family. If I remember correctly, you mentioned one time of maybe doing a collaboration with Grind Hard Plumbing. They could help you build a hell of a couple of gokarts..
I've had a few of those yerf dog karts over the years. To answer questions, yes the belt is supposed to be loose, but maybe not THAT loose! And every one that I've had, has been clanky and janky, but those karts are stout! The play in the parts is normal for those karts. 1 because they are older and wore, but also unless your going to upgrade those parts with bearings/bushings, you need that play for everything to move freely! Throw some luby douby on it and call it a day lol! It's a go kart, send it!!
Happy Thanksgiving to any & every person who may read this! I pray that you guys are thankful for whatever you may have. Please keep in mind that whatever little you may feel like you have... there's MANY who your little is much more than they'll ever have. 💙🙏🏼
Happy Thanksgiving! Excited to see the Pontiac! Alittle change of flavor! No need for secrets. Looking forward to it! Hope you and Family have a great day!
Been there. It sucks when we do things we think the kids will love only to have them not share our exuberance. Like anyone we have to learn how to meet them where they are. Good stuff.
The spindle bolts need shims made from a pop can. The jack shaft base plate needs to be slotted to move the motor forward to tighten up the belt. I build fully custom mini truck go karts. Hope that helps
You need a go-kart track on the property now! But one reason why your girls may be scared is those seats. Not feeling planted and secure (even if it does have a seatbelt) isn't confidence inspiring. Individual bucket seats would help a lot towards helping them stay secured
Hey puddin. I think the water came from the two bolts on top of the muffler. They are indented down in the muffler. The bolts may be a little loose and water goes down in the motor. I seen same thing on honda engine before. Hope this helps.
I was surfing youtube while waiting for my Wife to get done burning the turkey, and discovered Puddin put out a thursday Thanksgiving video....Man-O-Man Here we go Again.
Happy Thanksgiving to the whole Puddin family and all of you who take the minute to read this. I'm thankful for this channel
Happy Thanksgiving
This video will help us get through the day that's about to begin.
Perfect timing Puddin
Couldn’t said it better myself!
Happy thanksgiving
Nicely said. Dont eat to much
And I’m happy to see you working on a firechicken
The belt on the second go-kart look good. A lot better than the first!
Worn out belts and clutches that need cleaning!
@@ssykes80 ya normal torque converter maintenance wouldn't hurt that's fo sho

That's a baddass comment right there. Too bad Puddin' doesn't reply too much.

Looking forward to more of that -67 Firebird. I had one when I was young many, many years ago, and I loved it. 😍
Nice change of pace
Always enjoyable and entertaining. Enjoy time with your girls. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for sharing and God bless.

I once owned a 67 Firebird. One of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Love watching your channel. I try to never miss an episode.
Slick Fitty's family has the nice old rides... The Chevrolet Apache truck was beautiful, and I can't wait to see what gets done with the Rat Pontiac!
Would like to see a Puddin/Puddin-Pops go kart race off. Also a Slick and Wild Man Bill race off would be pretty entertaining. 😂
Puddin and the gang go-cart race around the pond sounds like a fun video.
Happy turkey day to you and your family God bless all great show keep up the amazing work

OMG puddin, my favourite American car, the 67 firebird. 396 big block and a cam, 4 barrel...brilliant..!! Can't wait for this build man..✌️👍🇬🇧

Got to say I was excited about the go-carts. Till I seen the thunder chicken in the back. Can't wait to see it
hey Puddin if you need any advice on the yerfdogs you should get in touch with the guys at cars and cameras they have really good go kart content
Growing up, my brother and I had a yerfdog gokart that was a bit larger than yours. Watching this brought back a ton of good memories of raising hell with that thing. Hopefully y'all can make some great memories as well!

Thankful for you, Puddin, and your wonderful family! Now, go have a great weekend!
Happy Thanks giving sir, i enjoyed the yerfdog cart video. But go and enjoy the family and have a great time with them.
Your new project is a 1968 not a 1967. I had a 67 GTO snd it had a flat hood trunk with some curves!
Happy Thanksgiving pudding and family, thanks for taking us on your journey 🦃
Just watching you cut those corners up and eye ballin it, I think we all knew it was still gonna rub🤣🤣you should do these live and then we can say

First thing I thought was a clamp or vice to straighten things out. Puddin grabs a floor jack. Love it.
67 camaros and firebird are the only year with wing windows. Happy Thanksgiving Puddin, Your Family and Your Subs
This is going to be a goodin!!!! Was away for turkey day, nothing makes it better to come home to some Puddin. That Pontiac is sweeeeeeet!!!!

Looks like the water got in through the exhaust pipe?
always wanted a gen1 firebird/camaro. had a 68 GTO. Bought it in 76. That little bird looks good. Can't wait to see it reborn.

Thanks for the video! Nice change of pace, many of us fellow car guys have gokarts and mini bikes in the inventory, simple and fun.
This was good enough for 2nd action. I enjoyed it!! Hope you and Hotrod had some fun hanging out!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family. You're missing the grease fittings on your spindles. The grease is your bushings on these. We would grease ours before every ride.

Man what a fun awesome video. I miss building gocarts with my kids, they're all grown up now. Happy thanks giving homie.
Have a happy thanks-4 giving eat some good grub have a good weekend thank u for the time u share with us the viewers
You should get a Hydrolic porta power. That would bend that pipe back.
Bought one of these about 2 months ago with a brand new pred 212. Put a bigger jet, intake, exhaust, does donuts in the yard
Really looking forward to the Video Monday! That project is right up my alley. Love an old school muscle car, especially a GM.

If I remember correctly, you mentioned one time of maybe doing a collaboration with Grind Hard Plumbing. They could help you build a hell of a couple of gokarts..
We used to have 2 of those. a 150 cc and a 250cc. the kids loved them, but it was difficult keeping them running and finding parts

Oh man what a find I’ve been wanting a 68 Pontiac Firebird for years 400 staple shifter with white leather interior and painted blue metallic
Front control arms and spindles are backwards on one
Happy Thanksgiving! Excited to see the Pontiac! Alittle change of flavor! No need for secrets. Looking forward to it! Hope you and Family have a great day!
Now i've had a perfect thanksgiving thank you Keep up the great work man
Been there. It sucks when we do things we think the kids will love only to have them not share our exuberance. Like anyone we have to learn how to meet them where they are. Good stuff.
If you chain an old king size mattress coil spring on behind the YerfDog you can groom your lawn while having fun.
Hey Puddin👋, Enjoy the time with the girls and thanks for sharing. Happy Thanksgivin🦃
Happy turkey day sir, wasn’t expecting a video today but since you uploaded it I am definitely going to watch, Thank you Puddin!!
happy thanksgiving brother - enjoy the daddy daughter time as much and as often as you can!!
Them machines look like fun.lots of property to rip around on.

Can’t wait for the firebird! A first gen camaro or firebird is a bucket list car for me. I’ve had a third and a 5th but something about the first!
I was surfing youtube while waiting for my Wife to get done burning the turkey, and discovered Puddin put out a thursday Thanksgiving video....Man-O-Man Here we go Again.
Maybe you and slick can have a custom face off with the carts. Each take like 2 days to speed up and pimp out each of the carts. Then race them.
Happy thanksgiving Puddin family hope you have a good time
You can put spacers under that engine assembly, and as engine goes up chain tightens.plus u can buy spindles every part fir yerf dogs
