I have done a little game development on the Quest. Vr game development is pretty much the same at normal 3d development except there is a lot more with haptics and the controllers. Interaction with elements like picking up things is also a tad different but not to bad. I don't know if you use Unity but Unity has great tutorial on the basic Vr development. Just so you can get the hang of things.
I've only discovered you in the past week, but boy, does that feel like a killer Christmas gift.
