But... I don't know... For me it's not worth it, considering options like the RunCam Thumb Pro and the Firefly X Lite II...
But, perhaps for others it does make sense. So who knows.

understandable but i think if you compare the image quality to just about anything gopro , the gopro is going to look better and if you are into color grading your video the color science in gopro is very hard to beat.

I bought a beat up, but functional hero 7 on ebay for $100 for my first decased gopro, but it would be nice to avoid the tear down process altogether
The gp 7 wasnt a great option for a naked gopro as there are gyro issues when trying to use reelstedy with the footage.

How do you hook up a screen to configure if you don't have the setup that you have? Meaning your old GoPro screen and a 3D printed case
You need to buy a screen. I'll have to find a link to the 3d print. You don't need the print you can just connect it by hand.

No. You change all the setting via the gopro app.
@@TweetFPV okay now I'm confused you said that you need a screen first time you hook it up. So what do I need to do, physically plug in a screen or can I use the gopro app. My apologies I'm a little slow, but this is something that I do want to try
