Damn girl, I loveee getting long nails & if you were in my area I would be your #1 customer. Where I'm from, they can never get the shape right! You inspired me to start doing nails in my area and mark my words, I AM GOING TO BE THE BEST NAIL TECH IN MY AREA - thanks to you of course!! Everyone out here is doing lashes, so I'm gonna be the only one in the nail game, killing it!
girl don’t feel bad. I’ve been doing nails for almost a year now and tbh some of my sets still take me 3 hours. I’m always trying to find ways to shorten the time but I still end up taking longer. 😩
Anna Lisa aame sis! But I’d rather make them look good then just rush it because I’m still a beginner but I’m sure the more you practice the faster you’ll get💗
Really admire you for going to nail school. There’s nothing wrong with these Tik Tok girls doing nowadays, (it’s prolly for themselves anyway I don’t want to bash them) but I see the dedication and skill u have & it’s amazing, keep it up!
Always follow the knuckle to make sure that the nail tips are on straight. The nail tip show just did a great video on keeping the nails coming straight out was on one of her ombre videos a few weeks ago.
@@Chamorittaprincess ☺she says in the video keep your elbow and arm straight then fingers straight, sometimes it's hard to see if it's still staight l just did a coffin shape but might change it to a stiletto since my pinky looks wonky still lol! The struggles lol! I just look at my nuckle nearest my cuticle and go by that, get the file and follow the middle.
@@Chamorittaprincess it helps to count 1,2,3 kinda slow before you place down the bead. It will have set a little and you'll be able to apply it down and it will be thicker.
I don't have hidden pleasure but I have cover blush by young nails which has glitter, I encapsulate out of habit but like a very thin and wet layer of clear
Want to get into doing my own nails, I can’t afford paying for £30 sets all the time, but I have zero experience. When I’m buying all the equipment I need, would you say the drill is essential or can I manage with just a file ? Xx
If you want to do them regularly I say get the drill . The file will be a lot more time consuming and also a drill is much more precise as it’s smaller and get into the corner of your nails , a file can’t do that . However I do believe it’s possible with a file
Yas when ur first learning you cant get them that smooth and a drill really helps I would also recommend buying a £10 set of eBay and practice then when u get good start buying good acrylic etc and that way ur not wasting money and it come with a practice finger x
I did mine for around a year without an e file. I just bought a cheap but good one. I think it's the same she used. You really really need one to file the nails underneath, do the cuticle area and also remove product. Taking of gel polish and removing your nails with a hand file takes hours and you always have damaged skin because you can't avoid hitting it too!
Do you have any tips for putting on nail tips?? I keep getting bubbles when i glue them on.... theyll stick to the top and sides but wont actually stick to the middle of the nail
Beautiful set. I always thought that you had to encapsulate acrylics with glitter specks. Because when filing, you will file off the glitter. But I guess that is not the case with this powder?
Hello everyone, I went to get acrylic nails for the first time. The technician did not push my cuticles back. Is that something that should always be done? Thank you for your advice!
What paper towels do you use?? I usually use Viva but with everything going on I can’t find any anywhere and I tried other ones and they are not good 😭😭
You don't need to cut cuticles to make them last as long as you get all the dirt and dead skin off the natural nail you should be fine. I found after l started doing nails an acid primer worked better for me l don't get any lifting unless l knock a nail really hard. I use silcare acid primer from amazon was only 3£ and some change.
Non acid primer is like double sided sticky tape, acid primer puts little pits in the nail so that the product sticks on better so acid primers are better for problem lifters.
Yes It is much more efficient! I also use it around the cuticle because I can get close and touch the skin, to make sure it's extra extra smooth and the tip to make sure there's no rough corners that catch on stuff and scratch badly.
I wanna say an hour to an hour n 30 mins. We did it spaced out bc she was soaking off her other hand while i did this one so i didnt get to do the other hand right away.
she said she’s still in nail school???? GIRL WTF YOURE SO GOOD
Facts
i love that these tips don’t have that ugly curve in them

Brandy Carr i know ....
Dude then idk wth I’m doing wrong I literally take 3 freaking hours to do a set like this idk what to do to speed it up anyone any suggestions?
Honestly just keep practicing & it will come. Sometimes i still take 3 hours to do a set (normally more complicated ones) .
girl don’t feel bad. I’ve been doing nails for almost a year now and tbh some of my sets still take me 3 hours. I’m always trying to find ways to shorten the time but I still end up taking longer. 😩
Try sticking to the same routine, if you keep doing the same things every time then your speed will get better in time.
Sameee i just started my nail journey and I literally take 3 hrs to do one hand smhhh

😍😍 I used to encapsulate hidden pleasures but then I realized you don’t need to
I have this color too and don’t encapsulate it and still looks great! Love this video, u inspire me 🥺
Love this!! I struggle so much with how to apply nail tips to crooked fingers and how to make a nail thicker 😩

So nice, as always😍
Your a natural great job
It only shows her applying and filing one hand. Girls, most good quality sets take time.
Melissa Ayala add same amount of time on one hand to another
yeah it makes sense on average a full set takes 1hour when you go to the salon
And tips application is skipped
sydney: sorry i’m out of breath me: when isn’t sydney out of breath 😭 i love your videos by the way 💞!
Beautiful😍😍😍😍loved everything
what type of tips are you using ?
These are so pretty!!!
Can you make a video of your set up? Nail room tour?

Do you have any tips for putting on nail tips?? I keep getting bubbles when i glue them on.... theyll stick to the top and sides but wont actually stick to the middle of the nail
I have that same problem :(
More glue maybe? I used to do that too but adding a tad more product and double checking the placement typically works for me
30 minutes girl ?? You bomb 🙌🏾🙌🏾
hey girl where is ur drill from?
Loveeeeeeee 💕💕💕 May I ask where did u get the acrylic color? I didn’t really hear u
Sammy Bnailz hey i have it too it’s from shop.valentinobeautypure.com & it’s called hidden pleasure 💞

Cjp has a similar one too if you look up liz's acrylic nails channel you will see it. They sell pots for 5£.
Patricia Gallacher thank u so much 💕
icy lee I just bought it. I’m not sure whether to thank you or not because I bought a lot more too🤦🏾♀️
Beautiful set. I always thought that you had to encapsulate acrylics with glitter specks. Because when filing, you will file off the glitter. But I guess that is not the case with this powder?
Do you put coear coat of regular acrylic over them?
No
I do with everything saves your colours and cores so that way they last longer and save you money.

When you file the nails w the e file, what speed do you have it on? Btw Thank you for doing this video in real time, it has helped me out so much.
Hmm i dont put it on the highest speed but i do have it more than half way so probably like 75% if i could put a # to it
Sydney Alexis this helps a lot, thank you for responding. I really appreciate it!

She said she doesn't remember the brand
sounding a little sick👀

How do you get the nails to last since you don’t cut cuticles?

How long did this set really take?
What is the Color of the Acrylic you used please ?
at 29:31, you should try a buffer instead of picking it off, saves more time! 😊
Yes It is much more efficient! I also use it around the cuticle because I can get close and touch the skin, to make sure it's extra extra smooth and the tip to make sure there's no rough corners that catch on stuff and scratch badly.
Can somebody PLEASE tell me where i can get a no buffing top coat?
What acrylic do u use💞

Am learning to do my own nails and the problem am getting it to thick by the tip

@@SydneyAlexis thank you!
What acrylic brand are you using?
No cuticle care though?
Wowww love em!😍😱
Hey, how do you get the glitter out of the brush after application
