.I am aiming for an 8 or 9, this channel is helping me out a ton. better than school. edit:results day. I got a grade 8 in my gcse, thanks Maths genie!
@@StillTypical Trust, aim for dat fat grade 8! You got this ting, just make sure you have every topic checked out, and do the predicted paper on his website
@@StillTypical How was the exam? it went well for me, but the last question i couldn't do, so i guessed 3. I hope i got at least 2 marks from the working out
That’s beautiful from you, Sir. Can you do a walkthrough of the Predicted Paper 1 2019 on your website? I’m struggling on the last two questions. Will be much appreciated!
@@Info-hl8qx I think you are WRONG. If you think about it, BC would be 1 part right? Then BD would be 3 parts also encompassing the 1 part mentioned from earlier. Because thesame letters were used in each part of the ratio, then the total parts must be the multiplied version of the larger value, or in this case, 3b.
Ratio works by totalling the parts, 1:3 would equal 4 total parts because 1+3=4. Therefore C>D would be 3b and not 2b, because 1 part is equivalent to b. If 1=b, then 3 would equal 3b.
It doesn't really matter as long as you mention that is multiplied as its a scalar multiple I think... then you can work out the coefficient and solve the equation for the a and b values

Good luck my g im hoping for an 7 and surely a vector question would come up on paper 2 tomorrow
@@StillTypical yh, i am sure you can do better than a 7 g

not qualified to give advice but go to the solutions, take your time to see how they do it and see yourself doing it, helps you understand
I thought I was never going to understand vectors but now it’s kinda my favourite topic thanks to you 😃

Shouldn’t c to d on the secon question be 3b?
b to d is 3b
@@mathsgenie7808 no, the ratio is 1:3. for every 1 b->c there must be 3 on c->d, so its 3b's....

Majghan Kohistany no,read the question carefully

How do you know that ME = x(MD) and not: MD = x(ME) ? It's a little hard to tell which line is a multiple of the other. Does it matter how you do it?
You can do either of those - it doesn't matter which way you do it - one of the lines multiplied by something is equal to the other line.
It doesn't really matter as long as you mention that is multiplied as its a scalar multiple I think... then you can work out the coefficient and solve the equation for the a and b values
FOOKING LEGEND!!
I don't understand in the first question, where you needed to go find PT, you went through PS then PT, isn't going through PQ then QT faster?
You can go either way - both routes should give the same answer.
It doesn't matter what tour you take but yh it's faster
I did that as well, did you take 1/3 as a factor on the question?
Nice,but it's really easy👍👍
thanks for the amazing work ,really helpfull
5:57 you wrote the instead of they 😭
which paper is this again?
The vector ratio question at the end;'s still baffling me
I love you 🥺
I don't think he does
my brain hurts bcz of the last question
