I have been making this drink everyday lately. It’s so good. Whenever I go to a cafe or boba shop and they have strawberry matcha latte, I always have to get it. I love it so much. So I thought, why not just make my own? So I did! :D
Ingredients:
Strawberry Jam
2 pounds (mine turned out to be 818 grams after trimming off the ends) strawberries
614 grams (75% of strawberries) sugar
1 lemon
Latte
2 grams matcha powder
50 milliliter hot water (80 degrees C)
Oat milk
Ice

My cheat sheet way:
Supermarket strawberry jam
Frozen diced strawberry to replace ice
Matcha ice cream to replace matcha tea
Soy milk to replace cow's milk (personal preference)

I love matcha lattes, but I've never tried it with strawberry before. I guess the sugar freaks me out a little, BUT I am growing everyday, so I shall give this a try too! Just like I did the peach ice cream!

Ooh you can definitely make the jam with less sugar and cooked not as long to make more of a puree/syrup! I just wanted to make jam as well for toast and such haha. Thank you!! :D

One of my favorite drinks of all time is this matcha with blueberry cold foam that my local coffee shop makes. This strawberry drink my sister would love. Must try it now, thanks 🍓

Anyone trying this out. I reccomend clarifying the syrup so it’s smooth and also USE THAT SUGAR. Make it sweet babyx

Love matcha! Although I wonder if the latte could be made with strawberries but without so much sugar; maybe use them after blending with some honey.
I think that would be a great way to have it! The jam stays pretty congealed in the drink which some might not like. So blended strawberries with honey sounds fresh and delicious! You just might not get as concentrated strawberry flavor.

I'm usually not the biggest fan of matcha, but this latte looks so darn good!
Also, my mother and I almost always failed jam when I was a kid- and the one time we actually succeeded(grape jam) was... kinda weirdly flavored & somehow warm and watery even after being fridged.....😅 So it's nice to see some *successful* homemade jam for once! Haha

Thank you. I used maeda-en brand since its readily available but truthfully Im not so experienced on different qualities and brands of matcha and am still learning/experimenting!

looks good! never heard of this but i have to try it. but i'll use the store bought stuff as strawberries are kinda pricey rn plus im lazy lol. btw, do you have to use pure strawberry jam or would strawberry rhubarb work as well?

Oooh strawberry rhubarb sounds like itll be great! You can also just use fresh strawberries muddled in sugar as well!
