Darla is beautiful....such pretty eyes It's been a little over a year since I lost my girl....she was 17+....I started fostering another about two weeks after....my other dog has separation anxiety, so I needed to get a friend for her.... now they are besties. I miss my Chy girl soooooo much....Maddie isn't a replacement, but a way to honor Cheyenne,, by saving another rescue. Darla has the same marking on her forehead like Chy....and Chy had the darker coarse hair on her back.....I think Hen would be happy...she has a sister that can bring ya'll joy.....I bet she will be close to little man. Congratulations!!!!

You don't ever have to apologize for having grief for beloved fur babies that passed. I still, after 4 years, mourn and deeply miss, (even have dreams about her often) my long-haired tortoise cat I had for 20 years. We had such a void that we adopted 3 kittens a month after we lost Madeline. Adopting again certainly was not to simply replace her but to attempt to fill an enormous emptiness and hopefully offer a positive distraction from the pain.

I was miserable, crying and missing them so much, but when you get a new dog it is a good distraction as you have to think about your new one as they need your time and attention. I lost my baby girl Siri not too long ago. I still cry when I think of her. She was my rescue pit mix & she loved to cuddle with me. I was with her & cuddling her when she passed. Very late at night. Talking to her just like I did every night when we did our last cuddle before sleep. She just layed there she relaxed & was gone. So never ever feel the need to be sorry about crying for losing something you loved so much. They are our babies. 😢😢. ❤❤❤Thank you for sharing. God bless you & your family. A new baby girl needed to be rescued when I wasn't even looking. Bo'nina is the same color, but she is so, so energetic. Thank the Lord. I have a very big yard!!! 😮😊😅❤❤❤

I'm watching this early Wednesday morning, after a night of very little sleep. My brother (who means the world to me) has been struggling with his 17 yr old cat, who was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. They had a very close bond, her change in behavior led to my brother finding out he had cancer, but that's another story for another day.😢 Last night, in his arms, his sweet girl slipped into an eternal, peaceful sleep. He was absolutely heartbroken. When you began talking about Henny, I knew you were going to be very emotional.😢 I remember how difficult it was when you lost her. It was truly breaking my heart to see how hurt you still are,but that just goes to show how much she means to you. As I told my brother last night, we are the lucky ones because we have been given the gift of being loved by these precious souls. Darla is beautiful! I'm looking forward to hearing the Chronicles of Darla! 😊 ❤❤❤

Oh love i get it i lost my cat of 14 years and i thought i never get over it and i saved a kitten from the road a few months later and i feel like chris sent her to me. Henny was a amazing girl she knew how much you loved her and she looking down on you smiling you opened your heart to another baby

Ms. Theories you made me cry like a baby, BUT I AM NOT UPSET. I LOVE ANIMALS, and if you remember, I would always send Henny hugs and kisses in the comments. I'm so sorry for the loss of your gal, Henny. I loved to see her in your videos. She was loved from beginning to end and she is shining bright and running free over the Rainbow Bridge along with all the other babies that left us too soon. I have 3 babies at the Rainbow Bridge and I still cry over them. We love them so much and cannot imagine being without them. I thank you for sharing her with us.

We lost our Scotch (min pin mix) on 12/18/21. He was in my arms when he left us. Hospice vet was here at our house. Scotch had renal disease, he had been doing so well, until suddenly he wasn’t. It was awful. My husband and I still get upset when we talk about him. He was unlike any animal I’ve ever had or will ever have. We have our Lucy (shih tzu mix) now, she’s a wonderful soul and I see so much of Scotcb in her. Lucy is also a rescue like Scotch was. I agree, they have their way of communicating to us.
I am physically disabled after a failed spinal surgery, have been for 10 years. Scotch and I, now Lucy and I, spend every moment together.
Darla is absolutely adorable. Her eyes are beautiful. Congratulations, I know she’s not Henny, but Henny will always be with you. As I know out Scotch will always be with us. I will carry him in my heart for the rest of my days. Our grief is the love we have for those we lose.
Don't ever apologize for mourning your fur baby sweetheart. They are like our children and when they are gone their is an emptiness. Hugs ❤

I had to hold back from crying watching you talk about Hennessy, it's such a sting to go thru I am right there with you. My elementry school I attended was called Hennessy School. Aww, what a cutie! A beautiful blonde baby! About 4 months after our Skittles passed, we adopted again. We said we were going to wait at least a year, but when love strikes, it strikes! Enjoy the worst puppy ever!

I'm so sorry for your loss of Hennessy it's so hard to lose your fur baby especially when they were so good. I had a dog like that never had I owned one like her before unbelievable how smart she was also a rescue. When she got sick I had to put her down it was so hard for me I PRAYED she would pass on her own but she was suffering and that wasen't fair to her. Cry omg 12yrs have passed I still cry when I think of her nature I miss her. Never got another dog I felt she was my one and only . May your Darla bring you much happiness she sure is a cutie. That puppy stage is a challenge. Strong is the new pretty😘

Darla is beautiful! I lost my 14.5 year old chihuahua Oct.'23. I'm still heartbroken and cry a lot too. I felt your pain. That was my soul dog. I'm not sure I will ever get another dog. It is a huge responsibility and a lot of work and can be expensive; but the main reason is I don't think my heart can take another loss. I am recently separated and recently an empty nester but if my children were still little, I may have reconsidered getting another dog. They give unconditional love and can be very calming. Wishing you all the best with Miss Darla!

Theonie never apologize about crying over your fur baby. We had to put our fur baby down 4 years ago and I still miss him and cry at times. He had cancer and because he was 13 1/2 years old the vet said it could really do more damage than good. We had him for another 3 months until he was just suffering with or without his medication and we decided it was time for us to let him go. We had him creamated so no matter where we live he is with us. We rescued another dog and the day we picked him up the ashes of our beloved Junior came home. Junior was a black lab golden retriever mix we got him at 8 weeks old. Our rescue is a chow Shar Pei mix and he has been a great dog. Then about a year ago someone was going to just take a German Shepherd and drop her in the woods and we couldn’t do that so we took her in and she suffers with seizures and has bad anxiety but I wouldn’t take anything for her. She lays right beside me no matter where I am. Yes they will never take the place of our first love fur baby but they help us heal and we can give love to another fur baby that might not have the love. I love your videos and Darla is just the cutest.
Theonie....just love you!!! I am the worse at potty training a puppy. Not happening. I have tried and tried and tried. So we have a 25 pound cat. My daughter is a vet tech. She calls me twice a day and I hear so many stories. She is a huge advocate of being with your animal when he or she passes whether naturally or not. I know that moment was undescribable but henny knew you loved her. And that was the best gift you ever gave her. And Darla...well ..she will be a stinker but you will love her..... anywho.....just love ya. Keep being you.

I lost my basset hound Tripper named after John Ritter :)he got sick unexpectedly I laid down with him all night I got up and got in the shower was going to take him to the hospital I left his side for five minutes and he passed away he waited until I left his side. I guess he knew I couldn't handle watching him pass its been five years and it doesn't get better but it does get easier. Sorry for the long story lol. I really enjoy your channel 💟

Theonie, I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Hennessey...just know that even though she is physically gone she is always with you in spirit....may God heal your heart and bring comfort to your soul...I cried with you when you were explaining what happened with her and her passing....my dog was my sons dog...long story there, but he( my dog) who is now around 6 years old, has had 2 masses on him in past years; one removed and one that grew large...about a little over a penny size, broke open and resolved itself...the vet said it was a cancerous tumor...its been 3 years since that time and I noticed a few weeks ago that he has another new growth, which is now the size of a pencil eraser...he is a Pittie mix...mixed with Great Pyrenees and the vet said that the Pittbull breed of dog is known for getting tumors...I am worried about it and he needs to be checked out again...I am worried after you said what Henessey passed from...your new puppy " Darla" is adorable..she may be the runt of a litter that makes her of small stature....she also looks like maybe a Pittie mix with Malamute and possible some German Shepherd and Collie...just looking at the heart shape on the face for the Malamute and the eye color is usually from a Pitbull...they are amazing and loveable dogs...all my prayers and well wishes go out to you for healing( spirit and soul) and for good outcomes with your new baby( training)💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏also,I forgot to mention that I had heard about that hoarding case where Darla was rescued from...so sad and glad that she is now in a loving home❤❤❤

I am so sorry to hear about Henny. We lost our dog a few years ago, Toby. Last night I had a dream with Toby in it and we were givin a puppy. I told Toby we can't take the puppy because we have you and love you and miss you. At the end of the dream we had a new puppy. Because Toby gave us the ok and we need another dog.
