What he basically said was that: Part 1 DIO was a egotistical, psychopath with an ego the size of the sun and wanted to rule the world. Part 3 Dio wanted to follow an idea known as “Heaven”, true heaven to him, is knowing your fate and every action and accepting it, and he wanted everyone to feel it. Of course, he still has a ego the size of the sun, was calmer to people but was still psychopath. Basically part 3 DIO is a more philosophical person with the same personality of part 1 DIO just toned down.

It was a pretty traumatizing scene for me because the instant DIO looked down on her, I knew exactly what he would do, and as soon as I closed my eyes, the silence after the baby's cry genuinely scarred me. I get that it probably didn't feel pain or anything, but their fear and instant death was kind of heartbreaking, especially seeing how it was a newborn child.
