Probably a pipe cleaner or similar. Which means, although it is a great looking mask and the pattern shown means it can be adapted by anyone, it's DOA because they are basically gone. Similar with the elastic.

good project! I made 4 mask with terital external (water test ok) and cotton internal , but suggest a little more big misure. The final mask is too little for me in particular protection in lower parts

布口罩中間層可以塞入靜電熔噴不織布作為靜電吸附過濾的材料，這就是醫療口罩的中間層材料，讓原本就有八成過濾效果的布口罩放入更有效的濾材提升過濾效果。或使用口罩套也可以再搭配一層前置過濾的靜電熔噴不織布，利用静電高效捕捉過濾有害微粒，每天清洗替換口罩套與定期更換前置的静電熔噴不織布即可。
國立台灣科技大學紡織品高值化技術深耕研發中心教授吳昌謀解釋，不織布分很多制程，但只有熔噴製成的细纖維，能使孔隙變得很小，過濾效果才好。同時，還要加上静電處理，才可以吸附粉末、飛沫。
静電熔噴不織布正是經静電處理的熔噴不織布，因此可以達到很好的阻擋過濾效果。也是目前醫療口罩中間層的應用材料。
新型冠狀病毒尺寸很小，在 100 奈米（0.1 微米）左右，但是病毒無法獨立存在，傳播途徑主要有分泌物和打噴嚏時的飛沫，飛沫的大小約在 5 微米，而静電熔噴不織布利用静電吸附機制攔截病毒飛沫，採用静電吸引 (Electrostatic Attraction )－氣體中的粒子與濾材纖維的静電吸引力，也因此對越小越輕的粒子越明顯，所以對於超微小的病毒帶菌粒子有有效的攔截效果。

壓線的時候布料厚的可以寬點壓.薄可以壓窄一點.謝謝您的關注

戴著口罩去買2個口罩，用掉了一個還剩幾個？就好像用掉一個寶物去打怪，只為了得到相同一個寶物！你會這樣使用寶物嗎？人潮不是又增加病毒的傳播？
開刀房使用「布口罩」對資深的醫療人員可能不陌生，我的年資還不夠，從實習醫師開始就是一次性、拋棄性的「不織布口罩」，人力成本、過濾功效是主要的考量，這種每個1-2塊錢便宜的醫材廠商在台灣實在沒有競爭力，全世界都ㄧ樣，大半部份都只能由中國製造來降低成本。
「布口罩」在我數年前到泰國🇹🇭緬甸🇲🇲邊境的醫院義診就遇到，布帽、布口罩，偏遠醫院也不會產生過多的醫療廢棄物，當時戴起來，又新鮮又環保！
買不到口罩，能不能自己來？
1.布料行挑一塊喜歡的布，這一塊藍布是日本京都棉布，每呎55元（30*105公分）可以做3個！
2.找個會裁縫的高手。
3.拿個紙口罩給他當尺寸樣本！
30分鐘後，口罩就生出來了！
臨床使用上當然會有好奇的問題產生！
Q口罩有沒有消毒、無菌？
A你呼吸的空氣有消毒過嗎？布口罩只要每日清洗，或是口水太多、濕了，就換！
Q 布口罩有沒有過濾效果？
A 一般使用的外科口罩，密合效果也不是百分百，大部分氧氣還是從口罩側面出入，除非是密合度極佳的N95口罩！可是N95醫療上也只能在重要關頭配戴，低風險的環境不用配戴，因為戴了你也撐不久！「平常人不需要」！有心臟病的絕不能戴，前幾天看到一位老伯伯，只是戴外科口罩就呼不到氣，胸悶！送急診了！
我的布口罩背面有個開口，可以把濾材放進去！
重點來了！！！
看到沒！「有濾材」的布口罩！
Q蛤，濾材那裡來？
A 一般外科口罩的布織布就是它的濾材，「熔噴不織布」，纎維可以到1-5微米，這種獨特的毛細結構就是過濾的好材質，外科口罩的三層結構就是前面防水的不織布（防水是不是也防氣？有沒有戳到盲腸？）中間的「熔噴不織布」，後面再加一層普通不織布！黏貼而成！
你有本事找到「熔噴不織布」算你厲害，應該都被政府徵用了！
沒有「熔噴不織布」也不用哭！
ㄧ般布織布也可以，不織布在周遭常可遇到！
你家的「不織布」抹布、尿布、紗布、濕紙巾、衛生棉⋯⋯都是，記得要用「新」的，這種錢不要省！
我用的不織布是濕紙巾，打開後讓它乾燥後再塞進去！衛生紙也行！有更適合、方便的材質歡迎提供！
戴口罩只是避面對方的口沫遇上你的口沫，不小心飛沫傳染。
病毒在空氣中微乎其微，要是彼此都沒有呼吸道症狀、發燒，我的布口罩「夠了」，我說「夠了」就是「夠了」再下去就會「牙」起來！
病毒會隨著口沫在環境中存留幾天，所以「勤洗手比戴口罩」重要！
我大部份麻醉的對象都是健康、無呼吸道症狀的產婦，所以布口罩「夠了」！
要是醫療工作是在急、門診、加護病房、開刀房中，容易有血體液接觸，那時候就務必要「外科口罩」或N95！
把醫療口罩留給必要的醫療工作者！
我用「布口罩」都「夠了」，你也ㄧ定「夠了」！
保護醫療人員，就是保護你自己！
