I miss Singapore shopping malls! 😢 In the late 80’s when I first started visiting there were lots of electronic shops in the older malls. Used to buy cameras and bought my first Walkman from Far East shopping Centre on Orchard Rd.

recently i went to raffles lighthouse and there is a marina bistro where you can get lunch there (it is facing the tua causeway - 2nd link and the scenery is amazing), it is VERY FAR, the last stop of East MRT line. However, the light house trip is an "on the way trip", as my main purpose is to go to the Tiger Brewery, I recommend you to go for the tour as you can enjoy one pint of beer and other sample BEER drinks, which is worth of the ticket price (i am NOT sponsored too, but i think it can be an interesting route for your next stream).

singapore dont have akihabara look alike city, but the old funan mall before renovation there use to be a few game shop, anime shop and IT shop

You must have gone to Raffles Marina, not Raffles lighthouse. Raffles Marina is a yacht club by the second link.
