20 years ago I had an employee from Russia actually Soviet Union who after his time in the Soviet/Afghanistan war drove in that area of Siberia. But it wasn't as cushy as it is now. He also didn't just drive from Magadon to the Gold mines but he would caravan all the way from Czechoslosvokia in Eastern Europe to Magadon which is easily 5 times as long as this trip. He had some stories to tell. He wasn't hauling that kind of weight though but I remember about how the route was only useable in the winter and also all the cold requirements shown in this video how the trucks and cargo would run weeks and weeks straight and how the engine would freeze solid in minutes if turned off. I know they had to carry a lot of fuel with them. They used 6 axle Tatra all wheel drive vehicles with 2 driven front axles and four in the back, Ex Soviet missile carriers if I remember correctly. and they didn't use fifth wheel trailers (which I always thought was weird) but hauled wagon style trailers. Interesting to see this video now wish I could show it to him now for comment.

It's nearly to the impossible!!but with all difficulties the journey is through. The spare tyres could have been transported by the leader's SUV it would have solved the problem. God bless the drivers 🙏🙏

“Are we gonna wait for them to hook up the dozer?” Then they all laughed and laughed, it was a great time!
