    People must be laughing at you.

      People protest in different ways and in different cultures and styles. In Western countries no one laughs at any procession. Instead they stop and ask for the reason and that is the way a protest and a march is spreading the message.

      @@Ameerpasaismail Great,as long as you love and try to follow prophet Muhammad SAWW and his Ahlebait AS,you can observe the day in any form to show respect and love.
      Most people just oppose because something is different from their culture and region or they do not know the reasons.
      Karbala tragedy is still known to the world because of these processions. How many people know that the third caliph hazrat Usman was under siege for 40 days in the capital of Islam Madina where Sahaba and Tabeen were present but he was killed by the rebellions.
