Probably the most underrated striker of all time. Repeated the amazing goals at Chelsea and Middlesbrough. Even finished top scorer in La Liga in his 1 season there despite the fact that his team got relegated. What a player! Is there anyone in the Premier League who scored more goals from outside the box than him?
@@USCFlash Well, that says a lot. Beckham (only 1 more) and Lampard played a lot longer than him in the Premier League and during their prime years. Shearer and Gerrard played hundreds of games more than him, and still couldn't top him.
@@kuhen25 Incorrect. HAsselbaink played with different teams in the PL for 288 games. Beckham played 265 games. Lampard played 567 games, nearly double HAsselbaink. Gerrad played 504 games. Shear played 559 games. OF course you forgot to note, that Beckham, Gerrard and Lampard are all MIDFIELDERS. Which makes their achievements from outside the box even more impressive. Shearer is the only one who was also a striker. What you said is simply incorrect. You asked in your OP "Is there anyone in the Premier League who scored more goals from outside the box than him?" I provided you the names. Two midfielders scored more than he did from outside the box. One in less games, one in more games. Those are the simple facts. I enjoyed watching Hasselbaink play a hell of a lot, but your premise was simply wrong.
i was a season ticket holder when hasslebaink was at the club, i was only 8-9 years old but i still have fond memories of some of the belters he scored
@@thelonesomewanderer8359 yeah, Viduka was a beast too. Played his best football at Leeds. That Leeds team in the late 90s and early 00s was one of the best English teams. Really admired them.
I'm a Chelsea fan and he was at us when I was 9 or so. I think there's something about his play which is really appealing to a youngster. His power and goal scoring ability was captivating and I was too young to notice his flaws.
@@kidkieran77 yeah me too man, back when i watched him at leeds it was 98-99, used to play the fifa 98 game all the time and play with him and when you scored outside the box on that game it was called a scorcher so everytime he scored outside the box which seemed pretty often i always called it a scorcher lol
George Graham can easily recognise wheat from chaff. I also liked limpar, seaman, radebe, Ian Wright, nigel martyn, etc. Hopkin was an underated player too. So can harry redknapp, Kenny Dalglish, Brian clough.😮
Power, pace, precision. The best striker I’ve ever seen play for us.
Not a patch on yeboah but good

Yes, Beckham had 34 & Lampard had 41.
Jimmy was tied with Shearer & Gerrard at 33.

👌👌👏👏
He’s the player I always loved to watch regardless of the club.
The power this man can generate without any backlift at all, is just incredible! And so many goals against top teams, even away from home!

His every goal is a little miracle
Hasslebaink was known as a big strong target man, but he was also and artist with a touch of genius.
Am I only one who randomly saw this recommended from RUclips in the middle of the day?

The celebration...
because of the era he never got the proper respect
Proper Yorkshire team. I’ve always been proud to follow Leeds United, being from Yorkshire myself.
Awesome striker.
‘17th of the season… but he still hasn’t got that cartwheel right has he’ 🤣
George Graham signed him for 2m. What a bargain. Better than Yeboah. Just a greedy bastard. We ended up with Viduka, though. What a player he was.
Not really greedy. In this video, he explained everything

GG destroyed the relationship with Yeboah.
I admire Marcelo Bielsa a lot and it s true he makes this team better today, but....those years....Leeds had much better team than today!
i mean of course they did man.. this was when leeds were still one of the best clubs in the world who finished top 5 every season.
I often think That Jimmy would have been brilliant in Bielsa's team.
HASSELBAINLK 🔥
Oh jimmy
3:27 Why is the ref talkin' to Jimmy here?
9:54 🎉
7:43 vs Arsenal away was a fucking bullet

Ian Harte вообще-то 🤔
A fantastic striker don't know the full truth of his fall, out with Leeds over pay should have kept him and avoided relegation IMHO
