@@julioalvarez9252 one piece has like hardly any filler compared to most shows as from the era it started in like Naruto/Bleach. The entire show has 94 filler episodes, for a show that's 1100+ episodes that's literally nothing. And the filler that they do have is pretty high quality. And the filler arcs are short AF just a handful of episodes and they're spread out and don't run concurrently like a lot of shows. Judging a show of over 1100 episodes based on 1 arc from almost 30 years ago has to be one of the most braindead things I've ever heard though. Also your comment doesn't even make sense considering you say you watched 1 arc but quit cause of filler yet there isn't even filler till episode 54-60 which is way past the first arc so imo you're just biased and hating just to hate. Regardless just skip the filler if you don't like it.

@@Perpetual_dark there is a clear difference between recognizing there is bad pacing and not liking something because of its pacing. There is an objective issue with one piece pacing and how it is animated. There is really no other way to describe the episodes that have 8 minutes of flashbacks/recaps. That is poor pacing. You can still enjoy and consume media that has issues, but claiming they aren’t issues is fundamentally absurd.
@SYKOfun pacing isn't bad. I'm sorry but the episodes weren't made for binge watching. Flash backs make sense if it was just one episode a week. If flashbacks are a flaw then every anime has that flaw at which point its not a flaw just an anime.
One piece pacing isnt even that bad, the story itself and writing is so poor, anyone who says otherwise sets a bar so fucking low its mind blowing, any characteristic any the main cast has theyve had since childhood and first introduction

There are problems with the villains too, remember the whole Enel arc where he starts lighting up everyone? in the end, it turns out everyone is alright and no one was killed, that was a huge letdown for me personally, have this great villain, but give him 0 credibility.
