The 2023 Lexus RZ is the brands first all-electric car. The brand that put hybrid powertrains on the map has moved to the light and finally built an EV, which is a bit ironic because the absence of noise and vibration when driving is one of the pillars of the Lexus experience. Did it hit a home run on it’s first swing? There’s so much to love about this car, but there’s one huge elephant in the room that may or may not be a deal breaker.

Despite many negative reviews about charging and range of this car..... . It is the only car with 15 uears warranty for the batteries, 1 million mls.. . Not one Bev follows, Tesla, VW not more than 2 years.... .
Friend of us has bought this car, he achieves 320 / 350 km range, 11 gr outside temp. Given the small battery pack, very good. This car does not weighs 2700kg like a Mercedes Eqe, or even 2800kg like the Volvo suv..with their massive battery packs.
Charging, you can do at home or at the office. How many of us drive more than 300km daily?????
This is one of the very few, if not only, bev you can sell after 4 or 5 years, still more than 10 years warranty left.

I just bought one (RZ Luxury) last week.
Streaming requires the AT&T subscription, as does WiFi.
You didn’t mention the manual door releases, but you CAN pull the handle and open the door manually.
With AC on in this 80-90 degree heat, I’ve gotten 2.3 miles/KWh. 104 miles driving got me from 100% down to 37%.
It said I had over 100 miles of range left, which is obviously nowhere NEAR the case. And starting out, the range indicator said I had well over 200 miles which is pretty much impossible. So no, the range indicator is nowhere near accurate.
My understanding of the “keyless” entry (using your phone) is that it uses Bluetooth, so it doesn’t require a 4G connection to work. But then, I haven’t been able to test it because when I click on “download” in the Lexus app to get the remote key functionality, it gives me a strange error message.
Never try to use an “adapter” to connect a grounded plug to a non-grounded outlet, whether that's at home or in a car.
My sunglasses are polarized and I have no problem seeing the HUD.

Remember the range indicator makes it’s best estimate based on your past driving and current conditions, so you could get 200 miles in city driving in the right conditions. You are right about the adapter!
