Hello I know many years passed, but can you please tell me what year is the honda cbr 250r are you showing in this video. In USA with out the year they won't sale me the pads. Thank you in advance.
Aaj maine apni continental gt 535 me honda CBR 150 ka discpad lagay a 35 km ride pe bhi gaya braj pad bahot accha hai kam kar raha hai Continental gt me brambo ka brake hai aur Honda CBR 150 aur CBR 250 ME bybre ka brake hai dono brake company ek hi hai bas alag alag nam se brake market me bech rahi hai Honda ka poora ka poora brake same hai continental gt bike ke brake jaisa is Quality bhi same hai kyu ki ek hi company banati hai bas nam alag hai. Now my comment is on basis of ownership of a CBR250R and Yamaha R3 with experience of using Stock(honda), EBC and Brembo brake pads. Brembo and EBC brakepads are much more efficient as they are sintered or double sintered. That's why they cost more. If you are not looking at touring or sporty aspect, you don't need to invest in EBC or Brembo brake pads, although they are much more efficient at braking and won't fail unlike stock organic brake pads. Bybre is ByBrembo, yes. Bybre makes brakes and brakepads fo bikes under 500cc ubybre brakepads are mostly organic compound, they are relatively weaker and inefficient when compared with EBC, Brembo, EBC brake pads. A NOTE TO ALL OWNERS AND VIEWERS. You get what you pay for. 2100 rupees Brembo brake pads perform very well compared to stock brake pads worth 250 rupees. But its a useful investment ONLY if you're going to use it for aspects beyond commuting in city traffic or city.
Thanks for bringing in valuable inputs, however I rode my CGT for a pretty decent and lengthy highway stretch at a time while on a trip from Kutch to Patna, and had no issue on the pads that I replaced the original units with. Its good to have a host of goodies, but then a sintered brake pad or for that matter ceramic disc won't serve much purpose for the kind of use thats intended on a GT 535. Same goes with piggyback programmable ECU or for that matter exotic air filter, the benefit if any is marginal and negligible but the cost incurred isn't.
Bro I need a help. My GT 535 fron caliper out of 2 one piston is not retracting back which cause friction between brake pad and disc rotor. Upon asking in service center I was informed that there is no such repairing kit(O ring) for it unlike other calipers so it needs to be changed costing me around 10k. I don't want to spend that much money, now my query is CAN WE FIT BYBRE UNIT CALIPER FROM CBR 250R? IS IT DIRECT FIT OR WHAT???? What is your take on this???
Hey bro, I have accidentally broken my piston of my brake caliper. Is it possible to find a brake caliper for my GT. Brembo or bybre either works but is it possible to find it anymore ?

@@BuilditRideit Actually i have bought a second hand bike GT 535 in pretty good condition. Everything is okay except Spoke Rim is not aligned and Tik tik sound from engine. I live in Kolkata and struggling to get the help. Authorised Service center just spits venom in the name of servicing. What is the reason for that kit kit sound. Is it common?
The kit kit noise that you mentioned, if it happens after the engine is shut down then its normal and happens as the engine contracts and the mating parts contract differentially. However if it happens when you are riding it, then too its not much of an issue as thats the noise from the self adjusting hydraulic tappet and trying to fix that will do more harm than good. Also since its a used bike, be careful to tighten the sprag clutch retention bolt with loctite as it has a tendency to get loose and get between the primary drive and then the damage is catastrophic. For spoke rims, go to a wheel alignment shop or even a cycle mechanic who knows how to tension the spokes properly, will align it for you at minimal cost. Just ask a trustable local mechanic they will help you with the stuff. As of showroom mechanics, I am tired of their stupidity and these folks bring bad name to an otherwise good brand, RE takes great care of its customer and should the ASC mechanic bother you, drop a complaint at their consumer relations mail ID.
Hello bro, I have been advised by mechanic to replace caliper piston for my continental GT 535 (front disc brake) ,and it is costing me 10K. Is there any other option , like the one you have mentioned for brake pads ?
hey bro, does breaking those plastics does any damage to the breaking unit ? and can we install original break pads(i.e brembo pads) again after breaking the unit
Vanguri Shashank I have a theory for that, I guess now the heat transfer would be more direct to the brake pistons, except for that I don't think there would be any direct sideeffect , on the long run too, i couldn't find any malfunction of jamming etc. On the unit. As of replacing the brembo pads back, you do it any day you want, as the hydraulic setup will take care of the extra space created by the removal of those plastic heads. Hope that helps.
The rubber pads in caliper acts as suspension for brake pads wen applying brakes n prevents from brakes getting jamed to say it acts as abs 30% so never remove the rubber pads from caliper
