our dad landed on Utah beach with infantry/motor pool, gaurded pow, 1 week befriended locals before hands near blown off 13th. so B-d in recovery. i saw letter and photo of pen pal back then but lost now...
A real personal family connection for you to have there in Normandy. It was a very moving place for us to visit and we both spent quite some time trying to fathom the history that was created in these very spots. A real place of reflection and contemplation.
We loved the tent and especially the vestibule area at the front which was great for gear storage keeping the interior clear for just sleeping gear. We are planning on doing a short video about the tent so keep an eye out.
I was there jin Utah beach 20 years ago and was taken back by what I saw. The people that down their lives on the altar of freedom only to find out that much of what caused world war 2 is lies and that it was organised by satanic banksters
Hi MarcT. This video incorporated two days of us cycling in the one place. So most of our bags and panniers weren't with us on these particular days of riding. For our tour both of us had two very well-packed rear panniers, handlebar rolls, frame bags, feedbags as well as dry bags on the forks. Trust me there was nothing minimal about it! 😀
Very nice video. We love it ❤️
Thank you! For sure Normandy will always be a special place for you now as well Tom and Stevie :-)

Also loved your video and thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it. Normandy is a special place and one we will definitely go back to.
A little confused. You sleep in a rather large tent, yet you have minimal bags on your bike
