I don’t like to do politics either, but I must say, I love Korea, all of it, BOTH ends. While we don’t see the world through the same looking glass, there is so much beauty, history and love in all of Korea. Plain food is a nice comforting break sometimes, rest the taste buds, and get ready for the next spicy hot bowl later. Be safe and well. The world is wonderful with you two in it!

You're right, it is chilled dish(cold noodles).
Actually, Claire prefers spicy cold noodles too.
There is a restaurant called "Naksan naengmyeon", it serves the best spicy naengmyeon.

That is meat based stock.
If you taste just one spoon of soup, you can feel the deep flavor of meat :D

Do u know where I can find vegetarian naengmyeon or naengmyeon that doesn’t serve with pork?
Gadis Monster I don't know where the specific restaurant is but I know one vegan Naengmyeon which is called Dong-chi-mi nangmyeon. Dong-chi-mi is one of the watery kimchi and Dong-chi-mi nangmyeon is noodles with the cold broth from dong-chi-mi. Probably, you will like it!
FYI, normally, there is no pork in the nangmyeon. The broth is beef stock based. :ㅇ
