As per request: My first year was, simply put, a roller-coaster. Sure, life is one, but this one is most certainly one of its own kind. Be prepared for the ever-changing and fast-paced way of things, in terms of relationships (friends, etc.), academic work, independence/decision making, and stiking a balance. I felt a pressure like never before this year. But I'm grateful for the experience: The changes I encountered. The people I met. All that I learned. I have picked all that I need to in order thrive in 2024 and to help counter all the L's I took this year next time. I'm willing to fall and to learn. Because surely I can't get it all right at once. And neither can you at your first try. Follow what Ta Mdizo said about finding and knowing yourself. Know what you want. Surround yourself with those who will be your family away from home. Mental health is a serious thing, guys. Take care. Lastly, I'm very proud of all those who succeeded their first year. Yhoo "imposter syndrome"😭😭😭💔, I suffered from that feeling for 4 years. I didn't know what was happening to me until I heard about it. I felt too poor for university.
I just received my report and I got level 5 for all my subjects I want to pursue dentistry Will universities accept me with these marks even if I do good in term 1 grade 12 cause I heard if your grade 11 marks are not good then you have a very low chance of getting accepted
I'm a first year student at UFS,actually struggling to adjust tar Mdizo.I have social anxiety and apparently I should make friends to survive,I honestly feel lost in this place💔.
