It is in fact easier to hold a single note for an extended duration than to constantly change pitch. This is why when people sing near the top of their range their vibrato becomes more noticeable to compensate for the difficulty of reaching the higher note.

A lot of the members prioritize entertainment over actually try harding on the prompts, like Choco-Sen when she was asked to do side jumps. So you kind of have to guess who will actually try their hardest for the prompt and who will grief it.
