The main theme in KZ3 was intended to represent the sorrow that everyone felt from the war. Plus, it was a very personal track for Joris de Man, as it was a track he wrote as a means of coping with the loss of his mother.
It was chilling when it played as soon as the MAWLR Invaded PaRappa Town, before a Giant Size Chop Chop Master Onion swoops in and knocks the MAWLR into the ground, just as the match ends.

It feels like Guerilla was never on the same page as the fans. It seems that an overwhelming portion of the fans sided with and favored the Helghast, yet you literally destroy their planet and genocide them.

Agreed. Three was a close second, but 2 has a certain charm to it that no other game can capture. Plus, I think it does Boots On Ground combat the best out of any game.

I am still waiting for GG to implement a (unlockable) campaign from Helghasts point of view. With a Helghast protagonist. A war is always fought atleast two ways, after all.
