The Orioles finished up their homestand with a victory yesterday, after another brilliant outing from folk legend, Albert Suarez and homeruns by Adley Rutschman and Gunnar Henderson. With a loss by the Yankees on Sunday night, the Orioles are level on record with the Bronx Bombers, holding the tiebreaker. Tonight, its the first of a short road trip, a three game set with the Mets. Our starting pitching has been pretty strong the last couple of trips throught the rotation save for one man - Trevor Rogers - and he will get the ball tonight. For the Metropolitans, fellow southpaw, David Peterson gets the call, and he has done quite well as a starter this season. Just over 70 innings logged, but has pitched to a record of 7-1 and has an ERA just a smidge over 3. We will return home for Houston for a four game set and then head out west to take on the Dodgers, so winning this series is paramount. The playoff push is officially on with just a few dozen games to go. So saddle up, grab some snacks, a drink or six, and enioy the ballgame. Thank yooooouuuuuu.

Due to a variety of reasons and unexpected circumstances, this former staff writer for the Premier League gets to return to his original passion, starting his own project - covering Orioles baseball all season long. That's right. Along with a handful of Spring Training games, the mission is to cover EVERY regular season game this year.
