- Here we take a look at TLB Mallorca's latest drop: the deconstructed Kiowa bit loafer in a Blake stitch construction.
A super comfortable Summer Style loafer that is surely set to be a real winner at under $300. I normally do not like Blake stitch construction but these are super comfortable and fit like a glove.
They offer these in a penny loafer style as well and if you are looking for a nice kick-around loafer for smart casual wear, this is a great option!

Never heard of it either. Apparently it's French. For those interested here's a snippet from Google. "Funchal is a full grain French leather of the highest quality calf leathers. Funchal leathers are given their final colour and finish at the tannery. They also undergo a special process in which the leather is softened and given a matter finish"
Now that makes some good sense. It was top quality. But not typical dress shoe style leather
Thanks Justin for the review. Do you think this soft leather would work on a GYW pair ? And if the finish is suited for a dressier pair ? I'm looking into an MTO with TLB. Thanks
Hello Justin. How tight is the instep fit compared to for example the Carmina Uetam (which is still a smidge high for me)?
This comes up higher on the foot so holds you in better. But it is roomier in the forefoot
Funchal is a location-airport in Madeira.

How's the fit? I have narrow feet. Also how does the loafers compares to Carminas? Thanks
Did you watch the video?
Thanks for the helpful reply
