Funeral doesn't come first. There is a protocol call to follow for right after you realize a person/loved one has died at your home. If not followed isn't that against the law in case of criminal intention / wrongdoing? Please tell us the first step, it's very important. Thank you for your time and advice.

I’m helping an older living friend; I’ve organized his paperwork, but he needs to move to assisted living. He needs to sell his home to be able to pay for the assisted living; how do you get rid of 70 years of accumulated items in the home before listing the home?
Our real estate team has helped many families with this very same scenario: getting a house ready for sale. This can be a bit overwhelming doing it on your own, considering the amount of work involved, in order to help the owner and family begin the sales process. But, as the population ages, this is a service that is necessary and needed. The process starts with all items inside the house being organized, inventoried, and sold with online ads or an in home tag sale. The balance of items left over can be donated or trashed. Then the full clean out, repairs, and spruce up, exterior landscaping etc. so the owner can get maximum dollar for their home.

This is a great list. Do you have a similar one for when a loved one needs to quickly go into long term care and is unable to be part of the process? I was lucky enough to have a friend of the family in real estate and a friend of a friend who does estate sales, but a lot of people aren’t lucky enough to have connections in the right places.

Is there a site to go to check if there was a life insurance policy of a family member? And possibly a bank account just holding money I'm not aware of? I'm the power of attorney and executor of my aunt's estate.

A lot of good information. In my brothers death before he died we liquidated his possessions like the land ane the apartment house the bank would let the next of kin to assume the loan. He had $800 monthly voucher to the IRS and 3 attorneys said to sell everything and to disperse all his funds. The one attorney said when he did end up going into nursing home take him off the meds and let him sign himself in after about 15 minutes. The nursing home could not go after a dime nor anyone else. I let a so called friend go and put his duplex in his name. The bank had a mortgate with him. He just collected the rents an never make one payment on the mortgage. This really hurt me to find out he let it go back to the bank. It had very good cash flow with about only @20,000 left on the loan. You sure find out who your friends are and who are not in situations like this. If looking to buy a home the death certificate may be a good lead to a home to buy on the cheap. I would not get too cheap with the deceased family. Divorce may be another lead to a home for sale.. Very good videos you have, Thank you
I don't know what to do, me and my sister Sheila lived with our Mom for a lot of years, Mom took care of me and my sister, and she just past away 2/10/24, she got Dementia in the middle of changing her Will, she didn't like the first Will because her oldest daughter Karen had unfriended her has not talked to her in over 6 years, my mom was 85, she was changing it Because we were no longer apart of Karen's family. The first Will had My sister Karen as the Trustee. When Karen found out my Mother died, She show's up with husband and there son in-law, drove over night (Lubbock TX- San Diego CA), stayed 5 minutes and left only her husband an son-in-law keep dropping in without calling me or my sister to let us know anything, my mom didn't want Karen to be trustee anymore, but since they said she was able to finish second Will, they went back to the first Will that Mom didn't like. If there is a living will that includes all assets, probate is avoided.
I was told by a lawyer that everything will go through probate unless you have a trust which includes bank accounts, home, cars and the rest including IRAs, 401Ks will go directly to the beneficiary? That a Will can help it will go through probate quicker, but a trust will avoid probate? Not sure if true or not? Thanks for the video.
Most accounts have beneficiaries and are not part of a probate estate. Personal effects, property, vehicles are estate items. States have a dollar amount minimum for probate, if less than doesn't require probate. You have to report the death and do taxes for the IRS. Pay bills before resolution of property. Follow the law and their wishes.

And then at the second coming. 2 thess 2:1-13 Concerning the (2nd) coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, (The righteous dead in the graves and the righteous living who are alive when Jesus returns at the 2nd coming are caught up to meet the Lord in the air at the 2nd coming of Christ) we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled over alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord (The 2nd Coming) has already come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day (The 2nd coming) will not come until the rebellion occurs (Forced worship) and the man of lawlessness (Papacy) is revealed, the man (Papacy) doomed to destruction. He (The Papacy) will oppose and will exalt himself (The Papacy) over everything that is called God or is worshiped so that he (The Papacy) sets himself up in God’s temple, (Since he claims to be God on earth by) proclaiming himself (The Papacy) to be God. Don’t you remember that when I (Jesus) was with you I (Jesus) used to tell you these things? Dan 12:2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth (Because they have died and are in the graves) will awake: some to everlasting life, (referring to the righteous dead in the graves will be resurrected to everlasting life at the second coming of Christ and are caught up to meet the Lord in the air, and) others who are resurrected in the grave to shame and everlasting contempt (Referring to the wicked dead in the graves who mocked Jesus at his crucifixion and the wicked dead in the graves, who most violently opposed the people of God, shall be resurrected at the second coming of Christ to shame and everlasting contempt) And the righteous dead in the graves are caught up to meet the Lord in the air and then the righteous living who are alive here on earth 144,000 when Jesus comes back at the second coming are caught up to meet the Lord in the air and then all of the wicked who are living at the second coming of Christ and who were alive at the second coming of Christ will be destroyed by the brightness of Jesus and then the wicked who were resurrected above are also all destroyed by the brightness of the Lord breath, so there is no living human being left on the earth after the second coming of Christ. since the righteous were caught up to meet the Lord in the air and the wicked humans were destroyed by Jesus at his second coming and then Satan and his angels are bound here on the earth, by circumstances, with no one to tempt and deceive since there is no human around for him to tempt and deceive at the second coming of Christ. And the righteous saved who were caught up to meet the Lord in the air at the second coming go back to be with Jesus for 1000 years. While Satan and his angels are here to contemplate there actions for 1000 years and the righteous now with Jesus for the 1000 years shall judge all of the wicked.
Rev 1:7 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.
1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 For the Lord himself (Jesus at the second coming) will come down from heaven, with a loud command, Jesus, with the voice of the archangel, since Jesus is also Michael the Archangel, and with the trumpet call of God, (Since Jesus is God) and the dead in Christ will rise first at the second coming. After that, we who are still alive at the second coming and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord IN THE AIR. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
So Jesus at the second coming never set's his foot on the earth as was said above. Satan will come personating Jesus, working mighty miracles; since he is allowed to counterfeit all of the miracles that Christ performed and more except the second coming of Christ which he is not allowed to counterfeit and people will bow down and worship Satan who is personating Jesus because of the miracles he is allowed to perform. Can you imagine how many people are going to be deceived by what they see·
And The wicked who are alive at the second coming of Jesus Christ are destroyed by the breath of Jesus (2 thess 2:8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.) and the righteous are caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

Sounds exciting!!! for everyone about to retire or retired. The wisest thing should be on individuals mind currently should be to invest in different stream of income that doesn't depend on government. Especially with this current economic crisis around the globe world.
