I miss the hell out of this game. Would rather play this online again than any other new flashy game out nowadays. This was the only game I was actually good at.
From what my friend found through some research, General Leang was supposed to be a playable General, but they removed her since she was so overpowered, even though she costs loads of resources to use like she is in this challenge (since all challenge Generals have infinite resources to keep them from being resource-starved) and can be ganged-up on in ffa multiplayer. She would also be countered by Townes since he has long-range almost insta-kill turrets. The infantry General also can defeat her using overwhelming numbers and superior firepower in infantry.

I just went throught this mission with the same general and same difficulty and i m amazed by your way dealing with her!!! I just conquered more and more space and spammed more unites until i finally got her. U make it look too easy. Well done! :)
The only game that you enjoy no matter on the winner or the loser side you are .... I wish they remake this again .... the exact same game with only better graphics .
The only general i was able to do this with was Alexander. The main reason was so that i don't have to fight her. I dont know if i have a older version or something, but she is impossible to beat. I even saw a few videos on battling her on hard and she does not do the things that she does when i play against her. Literally within a minute helicopters are destroying my base. However fighting with her meant that I had to feal with Granger. That was a spectical.
"So, what is he going to do? Take the field resources? Build a War Factory and rush some vehicles on some buildings? Oh, Particle Beam...and another one...and another...". lol I like playing the stealth general and stealing/hacking their base. A lot more strategy than rushing.

By the way. If you are depending on superweapon so much why dont play Alexander instead of Townes? She have her Cannons cost only 2500 and reactors producing more energy.
Its just that EMP rockets turning off tanks and planes with one rocket, so i dont know which one is the best to be honest with you. Lasers have advantage of hitting things instantly and they accurate.
Emperors Wrath From playing with her against the tank general and a couple of the GLA generals I found myself needing Firebases with Pathfinders to back the EMP Patriots up. They don't deal with infantry well at all. They only really perform better against Air units. They can be as good as the Laser general against vehicles, but only really if you micro them to disable individual vehicles.
Infantry, stealth and laser have the best stats on comparison against others. Most said air Force has an advantage too but pitched against the rest it doesn't meet expectations. By far the best strategy game ever. Been looking all over for the expansion packs...not available in my country like wtf.
This is so ridiculously hard. I built 8 Particle Cannons destroyed a clump of buildings to lure over some dozers, then killed all 4 dozers there and all her Command Centres, and she still had 2 dozers left and just rebuilt her Command Centre's right away.... and by that point she had already hit me with generals powers so i was screwed.
I FINALLY BEAT THAT EVIL GENERAL. USED YOUR strategy kinda. But it took me 6hrs lol i moved over to the right side after hitting his war factory NONSTOP. She was hell.
Well played but as the laser general, I feel that you could've invested some cash on some avengers in the early stages to support your defense buildings. They would nullify the rockets sent by the Migs and Rocket buggies. They're cheaper as the laser general as well.

When i get to general leang i usually build defences at the uper area by getting a dozer into a helicopter just so i dont get to suffer the attacks from the higher ground. I then work my way to the right side. I relly on the reset of her super weapons to buy me some time.
Aha the same thing I did but with Air Force general. Dozers ~ CC ~ Plants ~ Send in the bombers to wipe everything out of the maps and defenses at every bottle neck creeping to the base. Good times. G2 is gonna be AWESOME
Try shockwave mod for generals 1 too, and make play trough of it as well if u find time.It upgrades generals zero hour in many good ways. Btw i had this idea waaay back which would be kinda crazy,but shame no one implemented it, and that is instead of having normal ranger para drops "on call", u could instead order 8-10 infantry units of any type of ur choosing(much like star port worked in dune 2) inside strategy center and then call in paratrooper plane from center(much like M.O.A.B) to deploy them in combat :) that would give bit more depth to game, would be cool^^
the three infantry you got from losing the laser tower would have been well placed by your power plants to have the air resupply creates drop on them. :D otherwise loved it

A nod to the stone soldiers in the forbidden city. I would guess. As an American the first three things that come to mind when "I" think of china are... Massive infantry army Great wall And the forbidden city with hundreds of hand made stone soldiers. What are the first three things you think of when thinking of the united states?
The things that come into my mind when I'm thinking about the US are the Statue of Liberty, the Star-Spangled Banner, Wall Street and MS, Apple. There're are not so many stone soldiers（The Terracotta Army） in the Forbidden City, actually. I mean, there're some sculptures in that palace. But those ones in the game are sculptures discovered in another place and in another period, they have a far long history （at least for 2000 years）than the forbidden city. And there're no direct connections between these two things. And it will be a little wired to see those stones standing in the palace.:) I haven't thought you guys will notice our infantry army.Even a common Chinese like me haven't pay so much attention on them. They do have strict disciplines but there's no war in China for a long time, people have nearly forgotten their importance. （they're important of course and the military parade on every Nation's Day is always one thing Chinese get proud of.）
I didn't make comparison between these two nations. And if my words left you guys this impression I must apologize. I was just talking about some points I didn't notice that will attract attention of people from other countries. No Offence, really :)
Um this was friendly. I wanted to know the first landmarks etc. Someone outside my culture would think of when they think of the usa. I gave mine of china. There was no disrespect. I thought it was awesome.
when the Chinese based enemy has many dreadful nuclear missile ready to activate .. then their weakness is power plant i will target those ones with the particle cannon which slow them down esp if this was a pc not a player
she is very easy just advance with snipers and missile defenders and avengers for all usa generals sneak attack after lunching 3 scuds storm and destroy airfields and war factory in chine you need to build bunkers
Been doing these a lot more since 2 months and the Demo gen is quite easy. Thrax is a bit difficult but the reason I won't do it is cause Thrax is my favorite opponent.

What about using rangers with flashbangs? Do they have enough range for this? I mean using Strategic Center buff for attack range

Atom pulverise She was made to be OP, she has all superweapons and most units as far as I'm aware, she basically uses stolen tech.
oh.... and still loose ... so disappointing .
