I hate how the majority of viewers don't understand Zamasu. He is attempting to solve a real problem, but his methods are questionable. Most watchers however dismiss his reasoning all together without giving it a second though. The 2 dimensional thinkers just see a guy who's dangerous and trying to kill the protagonists and claim "that guys bad."
Think about it, Zamasu talks about how selfish mortals are wasting their lives on self interest and war, causing pain and destruction, without any real meaning. Zamasu intends to end all mortals to release them from the pain they'll have to eventually experience. In the last 100 years, human society as we know it almost ended not once, not twice but three times. First time was WW1, second was WW2 and the third during the Cuba missile crisis. Even now there is tension between the relationships of many countries. The problem that Zamasu is talking about also exists in the real world.
It's a matter of philosophy, whether you should deem intentions to matter more than methods, but you gotta respect Zamasu for trying to do what is right in his eyes. People have dreams and goals they want to achieve, but not all can say they give it everything they got.
