Here is the Funk Bag recipe. Stop into a Thrift Store and buy a "pleather" (fake leather) bag. Put some stickers on it and mark an envelope "Top Secret". Then put some FUNKY stuff in it with it, like an old pair of socks lol!
I met Skunk once and got an autograph! He is a cool guy! The clear body guitar has a distinct tone that does not work for everything. Of course NO GUITAR works for everything in my humble opinion. @@EricBlackmonGuitar you know Eric that a lot of talent came out of james Brown's life long career. Jimmy Hendrix, bootsie Collins, funka delic and funk sound. To me that talent is not given enough recognition in the black community none of their songs ever talked about doing drugs or getting high and all their concerts very rarely violence ever broke out at them. James Brown might have had some issues but doesn't everybody people back then didn't understand that he's putting his name out there no matter what he knew about music he took the chance to step on that stage. Jimi Hendrix I think was 15 16 years old when he played for James Brown before I understand he left because James Brown didn't like him or something like that but then we know what the end result was with Jimmy. I know everybody there likes all kinds of music and wants to get praises and not come down on anybody but the people who were writing the songs the funk songs they wrote a whole new generation of music and it's not giving enough credit! A lot of music makes me cry a little bit because I find a special memory that goes along with that song,like listening to the faces when I was 8 or 9 yrs old and he was 18 yrs. I would every thing like him even steal his shoes to wear(not kidding) or his suit coat. we would listen to rod and ronny wood we sold boot leg cassettes of live concerts we would tape of the radio the king biscuit flour hour and I would sip his wine. I ranked his girlfriends by the way walked. He never drove a car the girls came for him. MUSIC always came first. Circus mag the posters were all over in the Early 70s my brother had at least 700 albums in the First grade I went to all catholic school and it was record day bring on your favorite album. Well shit hit the fan when I put on Black Sabbath side 1 track 1. Couple kids were crying the nuns were screaming WHO PUT THIS ON WHO GAVE YOU THIS THIS IS BANNED BY THE HOLY FATHER. THE GOOD OL DAYS. ERIC PEOPLE NEED TO MAKE A GOOD CHOICE ON WHAT THEY LISTEN TO SND NOT FILL THERE HEADS AND HEARTS WITH SONGS THAT SUGGEST DESTROYING THERE LIVES AND FAMILY. THAT IS WHY I DON'T.LISTEN TO VERY MUCH RAP AT ALL. Thank you Eric you make youtube and learning music BETTER. Keep it up. I'll be ordering a hoodie soon put a 2x on the side. Got some bills first but I have been eyeing one up I told my kids were to go.
