It seem a shame that the pen pen being reviewed is not available to Western pen collectors i think this would be a big hit in the west especially as it is a Pokeman themed pen. Like that it comes with the accessories and the unique packaging. Thanks for sharing such an interesting pen set.
I'm going to guess licensing is a whole different beast in the west, and pokemon already has their own fountain pens in Japan, so it's really down to Taiwan/HK/Macau where you could sell this sort of licensed product. Everyone else will just have to use alternative means of sourcing.

I had to use a flat headed screwdriver to pry open both ends of the plate...there was a tiny bit of damage to the plastic but it's not visible after the plate is back on.
What would be the best way to go about purchasing a set if I live in the US? Unfortunately I can no longer purchase from Taobao because their supply has been bought or they removed the item.

I'm trying to replace the batteries on mine but the board that has them just won't budge. so sad.
