The artist displayed on this video and others of his standard would rarely get an invite to perform a show in The Netherlands, nor wider afield in Europe. So, we are in agreement that the music is trash, but I think certainly from my perspective that people the world over are not really seeing this as the bona fide Jamaican music. For example, thoughout Europe during the summer there are a multitude of Reggae festivals. These guys are never or rarely invited. Still, this garbage music does not do the island any good.
The other funny thing as well mate is how stuff like this promotes a false picture of Jamaican women. I'm sure many a tourist has gone there and hooked up with a woman or met a Jamaican woman in their own country, probably had some fantasy of a type of woman in this video, then discovered that in actual fact Jamaica is still a very Christian country and the women often very conservative haha
