You keep us city critters fed. The more I watch farming the more I appreciate how hard it is. Ur kind are the salt of the earth that our Lord Christ Jesus will always bless. Thx.
When I was out of college we planted with a JD720 using an 8 row plate planter. We used Pioneer 3306 seed that cost $25 per 80,000 seeds for small plats. Corn sold here for $1.25 per bushel! 180 bushel was our best irrigated field yield here in Texas. Talk about change!
@@ONeillFamilyFarms We used bags that had 120.000 seeds for < $40 using the small flats. Ammonia was $40 per ton. In 1974 I sold corn for $3.20 at a feedlot.
Another gem Rob, lots of work and not a word, but we know what you would be saying, at least those of us that farm or have farmed. Keep up the good work#GBR🌽🏈🌽🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Rob, best wishes to you and your family as you prep for 2023’s crop. May God bless you with good weather and safety. Don’t know if I missed this or not, what happened to your Demco tanks? Thanks for the content 🇺🇸🇺🇸
great video. your daughter will be 10 yrs old running the planter and you will have recliner in back of pickup with umbrella and drinking ice tea lol. how many acres of corn and beans you and the family farm.
With our gravity irrigated fields with no turn rows, being a little more precise in our hills with our notill and strip till, quicker is mainly why a lot of guys in Nebraska will have them.
Were those “ How to Plant Corn Instructions “ on that paper? Keep up the good work!
Planing for dummies cheat sheet.
Reminds me of what my dad used to tell us, “A little less talking and a lot more working”. 👍
Smart.

We traded one set for two sets of these for planting. Demcos are great just couldn’t see the wings.
Thx for sharing!

Thanks.
Looks like planting is going well. But it looks awfully dry. Will you turn on the irrigation after you finish this field if no rain in the forecast?
Probably after we put our last fertilizer and pre emerge herbicide pass on.
Where did your demco saddle tanks go?
We still got a set. Biggest thing was not seeing the wings on the planter.
Great skills
Why do you use mounted planter instead of pull type planter?

Something different
You sure get to work with some cute female types! Were the script writers on strike⁉
Yeah getting expensive
A little different. No talking. You'd be safe out in the field your buddy from Oxford.
