I just had a thought, more like that tapping was you googling the team...
what if for squad builder showdown after each player chose there team they had a selection of 5 players to choose from as super subs and the apposing player had 1 guess to try and guess who you go for and if he gets it right he gets an extra discard but if he doesn't the apposing player has a super sub to bring on whenever he wants and each episode the selection of 5 would change.
