inline skating was at is best in the mid 90s. Such good memories anybody remember Chris edwards in the vert, Arlo eisenberg on the street? lol. Back then inline skating was so popular all around the world.
Its a backflip followed by a separate 360 followed by another backflip, he doesn't do more than a 360 in this trick. He said it himself in an interview.. he performs the tricks seperately in a single air which in my eyes is amazing.
Seriously, i'd say 720° double backflip. I'm definitely sure that he does a 720° there. Then, some people might say that he's not doing a double backflip as his second backflip isn't completely done on the vertical axis. But basically it's a 720° double backflip. Eito says it's like a combination of a 720° flatspin and a double backflip.
@bladeulv Agreed, but give people a break. It is sometimes really difficult to distinguish between a spin and a flip on a halfpipe, given the horizontal take-off. At any rate, i can't believe my eyes. Did he just suspend the laws of physics for a moment to do that trick???
he has amazing control in the air. i don't understand how he can flip then spin the make himself flip again. i'd be suprised if anyone else ever landed a trick like this
Again, it's a 720°. Although it looks like the second backflip is mixed with a 360°, it's only a normal backflip which is not really "vertical" (kinda like an all-axis backflip). Plus, Eito even said himself here @2:38 : watch?v=jxt0eTXcxjQ
nooo theres a difference between a flatspin and a sidespin, the main difference is that a sidespin is performed with your body horizontal so that your legs travel over the top and down whereas a flatspin has the legs travelling on a horizontal path
actually eito is the tony hawk of in-line. i can't think of anyone who comes close, i mean, taig, takeshi and matt are great but eito is just, how do i say this, out of their league.
@MrBenHype Actually the trick performed in this video is more of a combination of a backflip and a 720 flatspin, quoting Eito himself. Check this interview : watch?v=jxt0eTXcxjQ&feature=player_detailpage#t=157s Following the slow motion, it would give something like : 360 backflip - 360 - backflip Or... how about just calling it the Twister? lol
when you are 20 feet in the air anything is possible. But still its crazy to land it. And yes a triple back flip is up there with that. Its 3 backflips! putting a double backflip with a twist is hard but they can already twist like crazy, so when they learned a double what did you think was next? And this stuff is along time ago. They dont have exgames anymore in vert. Damn shame, i liked it.
no! look at it, he does a 360 with the backflip o it looks a bit like a side, then a 360 on its own then another backflip with a 360, you cant say the last one's just a backflip otherwise you must have no concept of what a backflip is, you can see him turning his head leading his spin as he does the last backflip. definately 1080 100%
i'll believe that it is indeed double back with 720 total in revolution but for some reason when i look at it xD i still only see the 360 in between the flips and not the backflips with twists in em, but that might just be me not seeing it, i'll believe tho he can pull it off
oh god it just got complicated, just watched the other vid and he calls it a backflip 720 flatspin =/ wtf, im pretty sure thats not what it is but im now looking back at it and the fact that the backflips are wonky and so not proper backflip 360's, im really unsure now what it is. i can't say for sure
it's not a 1080, it's a 720 on the vertical axis (spinning like a normal rotation without flipping) and probably a 720 flip (double backflip), but he does this whilst twisting (like lying down on a giant vinyl record with the pelvis in the middle). That means he is rotating on 3 axes not just 2 which makes it confusing to work out. 180+360 = 540 not 720.
@@rjwfalcon21 me too. I still had a dialup internet modem with 120mb of usage per month when i sent that message, it took 12 years which is fairly average for my former service provider. Seriously, your going to try and diss rollerbladers on a video where pro is not even a good enough word to describe the dude? Just respect it and him for his skill.
yeah it is, don't know why people are marking this down but if you watch the slow mo its definately 1080
God damn!!! This guy just broke all physic laws known to man!!
I don't understand why this amazing sport is so underrated.
OMFG, thats absolutly awsum!!

Sad and true words brother

Beautiful, simply gorgeous!
what ever he did its still awsome

Sencillamente, INCREIBLE!!!
Why did they take this event from American x games? I used to love this event when I was a kid.

it's like a flatspin 3 to a flat spin 7, or a double flat 7 with a 360 in between the two.
PROOOOO
I meant a combination of a 720° flatspin and a single backflip. But it does look like a double back 720°.
or you could say its a back in double out, because if you look at it he does the first flip and on the second one he twists
so sick
Awesome
this guy is good
@m0gulsk1er its more a flatspin than a rodeo but i agree. flat 3 to 360 to flat 3
actually eito is the tony hawk of in-line. i can't think of anyone who comes close, i mean, taig, takeshi and matt are great but eito is just, how do i say this, out of their league.

Comment section: 720 degree
Reality: 240p
badass
hell ya
no there's a 1080 in there
HOLY SHIT.
is he sponsored by shonen jump?
i want to see the 2nd run of eito =/
BRAVASO...!!!!!
its a 720
Anyway, that's an awesome trick. Let's just call it the Twister like he named it...
you right its a flatspin -360- flatspin
no! look at it, he does a 360 with the backflip o it looks a bit like a side, then a 360 on its own then another backflip with a 360, you cant say the last one's just a backflip otherwise you must have no concept of what a backflip is, you can see him turning his head leading his spin as he does the last backflip. definately 1080 100%

the last trick .... i thought it was imposible
real epic!!
heroooooo!!
I m a skateboarder and I have to say that this shit is much better that a 900!!
its only on x-games asia :[
my bad.
there was no 720 in there... learn your inline... the twister goes blackfilip-360-backflip.. which is what he did.
Its not really a backflip more of a side flip, hes trwisting to the side in the flip so its not a "real" backflip. either way its amazing
for me it actually is a double rodeo or flatspin 10
its at 2:15
First backflip is 180, the he spins 360 then the second backflip is also 180...thats 720 double backflip
fuckin amazing!!!!
Yea 720 double backflip ... For time @2:15
its a double back 720
its a double backflip 1080°
SO COOL!! xD
that's what i thought
I do that every day on my office chair:) Maaaan work sucks so bad^^
Ok, whatever... it's a Twister. I don't see why he would say himself that it's a 720° tho.
inline is back on x-games woohoo :]
OMFG! O_O
That's definitely a double backflip 720°.
360° backflip then 360° then backflip.
oh god it just got complicated, just watched the other vid and he calls it a backflip 720 flatspin =/ wtf, im pretty sure thats not what it is but im now looking back at it and the fact that the backflips are wonky and so not proper backflip 360's, im really unsure now what it is. i can't say for sure
pretty sure this is bio 5 to rodeo? or sumat crazy like that lol
if you are going to throw those names out there i better here a cesa mora or a matt salerno.
omg.... :) NICE!!!
i gotta say, i hate fruit booting but it actually looks pretty cool on big vert ramps
holy. fuck.
pas mal
tht was so insane... tht was better tan wen tony hawk first landed the 900
FRUITBOOTERS!!!
it's a flatspin-360-flatspin not a backflip...
fuckn hell!!!!
3:13
it s combo...sideflip to 360 to sideflip!!!
Lol the camera man gives him a fist pound
yu think a triple is harder then the twister trick? I DONT THINK SO :/
allyoop flatspin to 360 to flatspin
no it isnt
er, if he span 180 then did a 360, he'd be facing back into the ramp when he does the 2nd backflip which he clearly isnt...
it's not a 1080, it's a 720 on the vertical axis (spinning like a normal rotation without flipping) and probably a 720 flip (double backflip), but he does this whilst twisting (like lying down on a giant vinyl record with the pelvis in the middle). @@mangomoon ..ok good, I’m glad we’ve cleared that up 12 years later, I can finally sleep at night..

whaaat ?!
most famous*
Two Words ...THE FUCK?
1:20 not a big deal
flat 10, allyoop. not a double invert
Marc Englehart can beat him, he just need to pull off his triple backflip in the next vert contest.
Seriously, your going to try and diss rollerbladers on a video where pro is not even a good enough word to describe the dude? Just respect it and him for his skill.
backflip flatspin 720 backflip
Then Marco de Santi can beat him too. But i'm not sure a triple backflip would be enough to beat Eito.
this makes every other skater look like crap he's the japanese tony hawk of inline vert.
he should try skateboarding ;-D
@oneone1onezero0 Way too tech for the public eye. =)
leave it to the japanese....clever people.
alley oop also :) but really who cares, its awesome
fruit booting?
lol...
