To be fair, I always like how Hulk and Thor are shown here. Hulk takes a proper smack off of Thanos that throws him through buildings and smiles. And Thor, while his lightening bizarrely does next to nothing, goes blow for blow with Thanos. He knocks him to his knees with a two handed blow, they grapple evenly and then Thanos knocks Thor down with a punch and blows everyone away. But even when Thanos does that, Thor just gets knocked back and isn't hurt afterwards so personally I always see it as one of his best showings against Thanos.

I don't know why folks list Darkseid. Darkseid is considered an equal to Thanos but not stronger and his omega beam does not work on Thanos. Parrallex energy can be absorbed by Thanos. Superboy Prime's mind would get turned to vegetables or he would just get beatened to death or his solar energy absorbed. Thanos is a titan and on par with a skyfather. Zeus is the best match up along with Odin who did beat Thanos.

Everyone says Thanos beat the Hulk. All I see is the Hulk taking a direct blow from Thanos and immediately coming right back for him. Thor and others have sent the Hulk flying from blows before.

hulk is fast though. very fast for some thing that big. captain America and Spider-Man are the exception but they have senses that their process more than a normal human being so they can react precisely while everything around seems to go slow motion. Spider-Man is known for his agility n Captain America too. but OTHER characters won't be able to hang like those guys. so that's pretty unfair to say this about hulk when you're comparing speed to heroes known for their speed but hulk would manage to think of something to subdue a quick character

Infinity. A three part converging story line written by Jonathon Hickman Avengers, New Avengers, and Infinity all ran concurrently and led into secret wars. IMO the best run in marvel at least in the past 20 years. Also it's prequeled by Hickmans fantastic 4 which is great too.

That fight with Black Bolt was a humiliation for the character. They described it as a walk in the park for Thanos ... in my opinion. And hulk has opportunity to win in hand-to-hand combat practically against any character. Thanos is no exception and he recognizes it himself.
Thanos is actualy far far more powerfull than few years ago, the character evolve, and his intelligence help him a lot, he has power from technologie too. What other powers did Marvel give him and through what means ?? That is precisely what I do not like about the character of Thanos. From his origin he was very powerful and Marvel little by little it makes invincible with *powers that neither belong to him*. It only takes a story where the writer decides that x character gets some extra powers as Thanos got them and we would already have a rival for Thanos. It is not like Galactus that *in essence is extremely powerful* and does not need to go after gems of the infinite to put fear to the Universe.
I know that Thanos would win most encounters against hulk, I have no problem admitting it. But I get annoyed by people who take away all possibilities to Hulk because they maybe not know the real power of the character or are haters of him.

Only his durability and immortality *granted by the Death Entity*. I bet sooner than later *he will become the hulk toy* ;). That can be the maximum power reached by hulk with Banner, *but is his own power*. *Hulk is not cheating here, it's a scenario that simply does not benefit Thanos because he depends on those things to emerge victorious.*
