The tabla is so out of place for this concert. Should've stuck to tradition and gotten a mridangist. Afterall the emphasis of traditions is the trademark of Ganesh and Kumaresh. Frankly the sound of tabla is irritating in a carnatic concert. The sophisticated and soft sound of mridangam is a big void.

Really?? He has a guitar and drums on the side, and you still think this is a traditional concert? The tabla is not out of place at all. They intended for this to be a mix of instruments beyond just the traditional arrangement- that is so obvious. Besides, the notion that the tabla is not fitting in well- that is a very subjective thing. I like the tabla in this concert.
