Its great to see places you have lived, others visited with only the greatest moments,to watch on video...with only one big why?we cannot predict if we can visite Again...my love to all great people met....!🌷
Great Stuff! Can you now do the south walking route along the Esplanade all the way around to Salmon Haul Bay, cutting over the hill via the steps there to link to Dark Park and back to Cronulla via the western side of Gunnamatta Bay along the beach and Gunnamatta Park, Cronulla sailing club, and the Ferry Wharf to the rail tunnel, Please? That is a superb walk and shows off the area nicely. Please make a point of stopping at Blackwoods Beach 300meters south of south Cronulla!!! So beautiful!
Thank you! Maybe one day in the future. I have a pre-recorded video where I walked around South Cronulla beach then walked to the station. I will upload this video soon. 😊
Cronulla is better. It is 5X longer than Bondi and is very calm at it's northern end near Boat harbour. You can always go south from the point of the thumbnail picture to Blackwoods Beach and it is very calm there too. SO many beaches in this area to choose from, unlike Bondi. An added bonus is the lack of crowding and people which you also get at Bondi. Awesome restaurants, and such choice of cuisine at better prices than Bondi. Bondi caters to the international crowd and hence charges are much higher. You should check us out one day!

Where are the surfers? Wow, a Christmas tree next to a palm tree, neither indigenous! Why do Australians celebrate a mid winter festival in the middle of summer? I once asked a woman from Chile how they did Christmas. From her answer, it seems they do it in much the same way as Australians. It's crazy.
Because, as you may notice, on the other side of the planet, December 25th is mid summer down here..... As for the trees, it's a park, there's plenty of natives, everywhere, you should come check it out 🤙
Seeing as Christmas is tied to a date, not a season, we don't have a lot of choice in that regard. We do have mid Winter festivals in certain places, for those that want a more "traditional" cold Christmas type celebration. Just to point out that some of those pines are Norfolk Island pines. So not native to mainland Australia, but from the region, with Norfolk Island being an external Australian territory. And there are cabbage-tree palms (Livistona australis) that are native in the Sydney region, so you shouldn't assume every palm you see is foreign.
