I love Labadee, but totally understand RC’s concern to keep everyone safe. I also feel bad for all the locales that RC hires to work at the destination. It’s sad the unrest continues to cost people their livelihood!!

I'm on Independence in 3 weeks and Labadee is our only port. Another sea day is not a legal option so we're just waiting for the email telling us where we're going. Bayley says they're deciding on a 7 day rolling basis so as of now nothing has changed. Coco Cay is not an option since they're full. Some cruises are rerouting to Grand Turk or Falmouth. Staying safe.

Just for factual reasons. I live minutes from Port Canaveral on The Space Coast. The new train station being planned for Brightline in The City of Cocoa (not Cocoa Beach which is it's own city and miles away from Cocoa) which is miles away from Port Canaveral. One is not able to take Brightline to Port Canaveral. You would disembark in The City of Cocoa (again not Cocoa Beach) at the now termed The Cocoa Curve. From here you would need to take alternative transportation to the cruise terminals to board your cruise. Taking Brightline from The Orlando Airport (MCO) to The City of Cocoa and then paying for an Uber, taxi whatever...............probably will cost more than just taking an airport shuttle directly to Port Canaveral. This is approximately a 35 minute drive.

Staying safe! Also….I wish BrightLine would go into TX and put in a train from the airport to Galveston. It would help alleviate the traffic problems there and offer an easy solution for travelers who fly in to get to the cruise port!!! Not sure who needs to hear that but maybe you know of some important people who could make that (or something similar) happen! Great job with your video, as always!

I always assumed Pinnacles were already allowed to bring their guest staying in the same room to the suites areas. But I'm thinking most Pinnacles sail with their spouse who is also a Pinnacle anyway. So this really shouldn't add many more to those areas

Pinnacle shouldn't be allowed in the Suite lounge and Coastal Kitchen. They should have their own specialty areas. People who are currently allowed to visit Coastal Kitchen are the Suite lounge are Suite customers and pay the premium price.
If it Does Get Overly Crowded, Hopefully Not take away - Perhaps Raise the Points to Receive That aspect of the Rewards!🤔😎😬

Titanic - Currently snack food for iron eating bacteria
Britannic - Sank in 55 minutes after hitting a German naval mine.
These things really did sink like a stone as soon as they started taking on water. Thats my biggest concern with recreating these ships. Plus this one is heavier. I just really hope they did something about actually compartmentalizing flooding risk.

I might be a Titanic historic buff and have been since childhood, but there is absolutely no way I’d go on a Titanic II. I’m not usually superstitious but this sets off too many alarm bells. To anyone who decides to go however, well, good luck. But a Titanic II is as likely for me as a Lusitania II or Costa Concordia II. 🤦🏽♀️

I agree. I think this Titanic II will have trouble being profitable. The billionaire behind it has been trying to bring in investors for over ten years with minimal success.
I’m Australian and I wouldn’t trust this guy as far as I could throw him , let alone set foot on any ship he has anything to do with. He has been dodgy as long as I have known about him 😒
I would go in a heartbeat depending on how they marketed it. There is a titanic experience in Orlando which recreates the disaster and everyone gets a name of who they are and you don't find out until the end if you survived or not, if they had those type of one day sailings we would go.
Cocoa is not in Cocoa Beach, they're two towns with MI and Cape Canaveral in between them

Every review about bright line has been positive.
According to other reports, the station is still 8miles from the cruiseport. But at this time, there's no news if Brightline will run shuttle buses to connect the station to the cruiseport.
This brings up an interesting question. I cruise about twice as often as my wife. Soon I will have a Platinum Latitude level on NCL and my wife absolutely will not. No doubt Priority check-in and embarkation will extend to her, but how will the dinners for two work?
I am Platinum NCL (about to be Sapphire). The free dinners for two are per stateroom, not per member. And congrats!
We have status on Norwegian. Exactly as the previous poster said. The platinum benefits are per cabin, not member. And the dinners are for 2. Enjoy!
Why would it make those pinnacle places more crowded? A pinnacle member probably lost their partner, so the person they cruise with would just fill that spot.

Ugh. I think Royal made a huge mistake in combining suite perks with Loyalty perks. That waters down the perks for everyone.
In my experience, Pinnacles camp out in the suite lounge for happy hour. Like... I've earned this! I'm going to sit here in the suite lounge for hours, wearing my tacky pin and being on the lookout for other pin-wearing Pinnacles to join me for hours at a time! They're entitled, and by golly they'll sit there in a Pinnacle circle, holding court for hours.
Meanwhile, suite guests tend to get a drink or 2 before dinner and leave but ostensibly there is no room for suite guests in the suite lounge. Now Pinnacles are allowed to bring guests too. Great. That really elevates Royal's outrageously priced suite product, when suite guests want a drink or two but have no seats.
Loyalty and suite perks shouldn't be synonymous. This policy had pushed us to other cruise lines and now with the bring a guest policy, even more so.
Pinnacles have a nasty reputation of being entitled brats. This just makes it worse.
Im a diamond plus and have to agree, site guests are pushed out as are all the other tiers. Only Pinnacles seem to matter to RCI, seriously thinking of trying another line,
