I really like this mod and appreciate that so many new models, songs and features of high quality are being added, but it would be nice if the current content would be fixed as well; there's still a notable amount of de-synced charts.
That's the plan! while we have a small amount of new content, the majority of the work is fixing a lot of the issues. If you'd like to help report issues with charts or other things, feel free to report it in the GitHub linked in the description or on discord -ts
Thank you for the reply! I'll look into which charts seem to be a bit troublesome (at least for me, because I assume that how bad the de-sync is also differs for each hardware setup).
Yeah Mega Mix+ is kinda a pain with offsets. A ton of weird factors can affect the sync so 1 single number doesn't work. We try and get it to ±5ms on our own machines, but we've let some slip by, mainly the easier charts as we don't play those as much. The hope is that for 4.3.1 the mod will be as polished as we can get it! -ts
This looks really cool? I just have one question: what makes this worth downloading over Project Megpoid the Music? I'm not trying to flame, I'm genuinely curious. Project Megpoid will have lots of Gumi modules and won't conflict with most mods. Eden Project has overall more content than Project Megpoid, but much more conflicts as well.
This was a module commissioned through sang so its not really meant to compete with anything. We had an update to release and she was done at the same time. The 4.3.1 update actually fixes a lot of the conflict issues and we are working on having even more fixed for v5. The beta for 4.3.1 on github has a more detailed change log.
Nice to see all people in eden project keeps to create new content and include subtitles for western players when sega only cares to sell more cards in project sekai
I beg of you! Beg beg beg beg beg beg BEG of you, to “fix” the “Quirky Medley” version of “1 2 Fanclub” switching Miku’s voice with Gumi. It always bothered me that gumi wasn’t used.😭❤️😭❤️😭 Off topic: possibly make an alternative version of Miku’s “Kagerou Daze” module to be more accurate to “Hibiya”, the character in the original. It’s not a great representation of the Kagerou Project series and it’s always been a pet peeve of mine. Please and thank you. QwQ
It's because the Quirky Medley was done by Giga, and Giga's remix of 1 2 Fanclub (that's what's being used in the medley, not the original song) uses Len and Miku instead of Rin and Gumi. To REALLY fix it, they'd gotta kill Len too. Also, the module typically called the Kagerou Daze module, despite being the 'recommended' module, was never actually designed specifically for that song. It was one of the contest winners in a module-designing contest (which Sega and Piapro has done for every Diva game except extend, X, and Arcade and its ports: they've also held contests for loading screen fanart and various other extras). It was never meant to be Hibiya or representative of KagePro at all, and it's frankly unfair and maybe even disrespectful to speak as if the artist failed to meet that task when it was never something that anyone actually making the game asked or expected them to do. The superficial similarities to Hibiya made it a lucky coincidence - we've seen the exact same thing before with Romeo and Cinderella, the module used for that was another contest winner back in the day.
