@ 3:20 Actually it's aluminium and the old e89 35i is still 30 kg lighter than the new G29 40i. The advantage of a fabric roof is if it is rotten you can simply cut it out and throw it away.
The joke of small roadsters being “hairdressers’ cars” really needs to die. Ironically here in the US, it’s older men (similar in appearance to the reviewer) who buy all all these cars.
At 50 you don't have kids to drive around, enough money, and you give zero fucks about what people think about you. So you buy a car that puts a smile on your face.. ;)
Brilliant review, your video editing and review content are outstanding, thanks for taking the time and effort. Looking forward to more reviews. Cheers from Australia
Which hairdresser on this planet can afford a car like this? I am from Hong Kong and we don't have this connotation here. The Z4 is a James Bond car, exceptionally macho at it!
In answer to your initial question…. my hairdresser could definitely afford this car. I pay $65 for all 15 of my hairs to be cut so imagine how much she makes off a regular, full-head of hair…!
New one is faster, more dynamic to drive (50/50 weight distribution, shorter wheel base, lighter) and is a real roadster (soft top). How is it more sanitised? :)
Perhaps a straight six engine with a much better sound track....cheaper running costs and the chassis and handling has really taken a step forward, there is genuinely less difference between these cars than ever before.... only on those very rare occasions that you put the mid engined boxster through its paces will you know the boxster is a little better at handling but never the engine. Interior wise VAG still build a better product. If your all about the badge then we don't need to talk about cars....
A lovely car, the only downside being the lack of ventilated seats and proper front fog / driving lights, for some fast night driving on dark country back roads It reminds me of what a modern Honda S2000 would look like 🚙👍🏻 But thankfully it looks nothing like it’s truly ugly sister, the Toyota Supra 🚗🤢

Max Mustermann they got the 50/50 weight distribution and the whole car is longer and wider so it looks more present on the road

@@stephanforseilles well said sir… couldn’t agree more.
You got that right

Thanks very much Pete. Good to know you’re enjoying the videos. Cheers for watching.
Pick mine up next week. Gotta go, I got a color to do..
It's nice and all but I think I'll stick with my 1997 corolla, ladies!
Another great review. "For a hairdresser in hurry" hahahaha brilliant. I have a mazda mx-5, guess I'm a patient hairdresser lol
Another great review! Loving the sound of that Turbo’d straight 6. Oh and a little of the sides and back and just a trim up top thanks :)
well done mate great review, the point was well articulated and communicated!

absolutely 💯!!!

Question, how do you get bird shit off a cloth roof, on a painted surface its difficult so on cloth it must be a right bastard.
Shoot the bird before it excretes on the soft top.
Water hose is best.
I great review. Looks like the z4 is turning into a sanitised blueprint type. Making the older versions more appealing 😀

On its own it seems ok but why would one buy this over a similar price in the Porsche 718 Boxster?

I'd rather take the more agile and lighter Boxster.

Fog lights don’t really help in fog, though sometimes they look good
Do not like the honeycomb grille. Wish it had the BMW classic.
Great review :)
$133,800... I don't think so lol
Buy a better watch mate lol
Well spotted Mike. My Omega Speedmaster was in for service, but normal timekeeping credentials will resume shortly. Cheers.
