@@MrWestTek Could you make a up to date guide on expeditions? Like how to start them, completing them, rewards, reasons why to etc. please an thank you. Love your videos!!!
I wish it was actually solo friendly, one of the constant irritations i had with dungeons in eso was the story in them that you could not experience properly because of the other people you had to put with who just speedran them. I hope they make these areas explorable similar to how they made some of the daily op locations.
Hellcat Power Armor with a Vampire's Flamer... you just cook fanatics like a breeze. Also, it is a good idea to equip the Friendly Fire card to heal the saboteur (if you get that first mission) and to heal the union guys when defending from the trogs. The only time that I have a hard time is when the Devourer spawns as Legendary... that shit is hard to kill and spawns more trogs ... so it is basically game over for at least the Union fighter or the medic that like to get close and personal... :(
Good summary. Regarding the steel ingots each location has 10 possible spawns and always spawns 5 steel ingots, so you can complete the side objective before entering the foundry, but you don't have to as 5 more are waiting in the foundry. Also you don't have to speak to Wicker at the end and give him the ingots and supplies. If you just speak to Hex and then to Lennox you still get the rewards for the completed side objectives even if you didn't spoke to Wicker. In the foundry I tend to ignore all enemies, but this requires some protection - a power armor with a combination of Assassins (-15% damage from Humans) and Troubleshooters (-15% damage from Robots) effects is great for that, also Lone Survivor is helping. If you still get a lot of damage the Born Survivor + Field Surgeon perk combination is working great.
I done 5x solo. Save rounds focus only on the monsters it wants you to attack to complete the quest. Make sure to speak to mayor Tim and the other guy everytime. To get all objectives. I made 25stamps in one run sometimes. Commonly will get 15 for each completion.
I can do everything except keep the union guys alive at the end. You get a 3 star Devourer pop and it will just one shot everything and can even tank some of the strongest weapons. Bring a ton of ammo.
@@MrWestTek is the other expedition easier to solo or is it worse? The last part defending solo is too much. Any tips to solo that part other than the fire heals?
@@Xumbie The ending on the other is harder in my opinion because you have to save 3 people in a short amount of time. It's even hard with 2 or 3. Your best bet is the one I show. It is hard, but you can do it buddy. Got to bring something to the fight with a lot of damage. Keep trying!
I always leave my group open for people to join in. I’ve stopped trying to join other expeditions though because almost every time you get kicked at the end by the party lead.
You can collect the ingots easily....I've been kicked out right at the end by some people. It's messed up. So I have to solo more times than not....I don't even talk. I am a tank and I run gatling 2 shot explosive,
Just recently completed union dues solo. I ran power armor with executioner minigun, 2 shot gatling plasma and 2 shot auto grenade launcher. The grenade launcher itself with the explosive perk maxed just destroys enemies left and right
Hello @MrWestTek, was wondering if you could update the Stamp collecting video or make a new one with the Atlantic city update, maybe see which would be the easiest; I can not seem to find a group to do Expeditions Thanks 🙏
Union dues was pretty easy at the start. My holy fire made quick work of the fanatics and was getting more fuel than I was using. I think i started with 1k units of fuel and had over 2k after finishing. I used my gatling plasma for the trogs since ammo for that is easy enough to make Only issue i had was that the warden spawned inside the jail cell for the union prisoners and couldn’t loot the key
The only issue I have found. Is that, I always open my open for others to join. But I have not been able to join any for a long time. Most the teams I join in Expedition has already completed it. Been doing the first one solo for a while. Maybe one or two people will join.
@@MrWestTek My luck sucks. Kind of wish, after the expedition is done, People would switch it to casual. Since the team leader can't lead another one usually till next day. Think people don't do them that often, is because it takes to many stamps to buy stuff and you earn about 10 or so per one. But you can get about 5 Legendary for one mission. So that is a plus of it.
Honestly man - ive been nervous as hell about that place. Saw a video where youmight lose some gear maybe. Until i watched this. I do have a couple questions? What would be a comfortable level to be at when your going in there? Is there a specific build that works noticably better than any other? Weapon suggestions? Ok this is now a book. My bad...i just wanna go in there, and get one of those auto axes LOL!!!
Im late but find each enemies weakness, for example I found energy weapons are effective against fanatics, I melted my way through with the new Bertha Tesla rifle, I ah ent found a solid weakness for trogs other than a railway rifle
The stamps earned or whatever the currency is, is so damn low specially now. They need to revamp that shit. I dont even do expedition most the time cause i dought ill play long enough to even get enough stamps for a PA chest that ive gathered isn't worth anyway. At lvl 500 all quests done,to many camps built wich i enjoy i dont make time for expeditions just dailys, certain events, and building is hours spent. I dont even worry about getting my 400 bullion everyday because i already know everything worth knowing. Not to mention Fallout 1st should also have upgraded storage the amount of shit you get VS the amount of shit youz can sale/script is way off balanced
I've been dying to solo this (and union dues is my favorite anyway) but I thought it was literally a case of it being technically impossible to do solo.
I though were impossible to do but the i soloed it with all side mission without need any guide at all. The problem is the last part, which I managed to make it like a walk in the park with 3 things: the stealth suit forgot name with 1000 rad protection, 2 mutations ONLY (cause im lazy cat) speed + jumping boost, 1 card (less ap consumed while sprinting). When i exit from the sanctuary from optional exit, i take always left side as the first npc weak one is always the closest, then move to the next. Ignore enemies, jumping above and keep sprinting. Sonetimes they hit me despite im jumping high (???) but whatever not a issue. Aleo if you fucked up you can always exit the game and re-enter, i think as long no npc died they are back to full life but you restart from the helipad. Didnt test if one die because only once needed that (got stucked in a object after the jump)...
I've never done expeditions and never will because my player is weak I'm lvl 186 and I don't have mic and play the game with no sound because I'm tone deaf
i was very much like you bud, but honestly you do not need a mic, you don't need to be overly strong, only thing that may cause issues is the trog horde at the end but if you have randoms in your group it's easy, don't be afraid to join a random expedition, stick close to the leader try to find the bonus objective items an kill what you can you will be fine :)
