Hulhumale is a local island in the Maldives, located close to the airport and the country's capital. It's a popular destination for an overnight stay on your first day of arrival in the Maldives, or on your last day before flying home.

It's not as pretty as the other islands in the Maldives, but it's a better alternative to Male for an overnight stay, in my opinion.
