Road trip from Hyderabad to Bhimashankar | Via Pune | NH 65 | Solapur | Baleno

Har Har Mahadev ! We are travelling to Bhimashankar. Date - 17th March 24. We started around 3 AM in the morning and reached Bhimashankar by 2 noon. We packed our breakfast, tea, so did not stop for any long break. Just took 3 short 15 mins break each. The road is pretty good, the ghat section is not dangerous, but manageable. While going to the temple you need to park your car 1km before the temple (Parking is free) from the parking there will be local auto who charges Rs 20 per person to take you to the temple entrance. There will be lot of puja brokers approaching you asking for
Rs 200/300/500 for early or VIP darshan, please don't fall into the trap. We booked MTDC via Goibibo, cost around Rs1800 with breakfast in the morning. Breakfast is pretty basic but tasty, Upma, Poha and Tea. The rooms are big, i must say the weather was cool at night as the temperature dropped below 20.

@@rajeshk9794 Bhimashankar you can book MTDC Bhimashankar from goibibo. In Grishneshwar you can stay anywhere in Aurangabad, there are multiple hotel options available. Ghrishneshwar is approx 35 kms from Aurangabad, you can also plan for Elorra caves as its just beside Ghrishneshwar jyotirlinga (2km approx)
